Independence Square in Accra became holy ground on Good Friday, as thousands gathered in solemn remembrance of the greatest sacrifice ever made—Jesus Christ on the Cross. The Good Friday Miracle Service 2025, led by Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills, was more than an event; it was a divine encounter marked by salvation, healing, and the tangible presence of God.
The evening unfolded with heartfelt worship and passionate prayer, setting the tone for a message that pierced hearts. Preaching on “The Cross of Jesus Christ,” Evangelist Dag laid bare the realities of Christ’s suffering—the betrayal, the scourging, the crown of thorns, the nails, and the shame of the crucifixion. But more profoundly, he reminded the crowd that Christ endured it all for us—to save, to heal, and to set us free.
Miracles Among the Multitude
As faith rose in the square, so did the move of God. Confirming the message preached, miracles broke out before the eyes of thousands:
- Back pain disappeared
- Deaf ears opened
- Blurry vision was instantly restored
- And many surrendered their lives to Christ

Souls wept in repentance. Hands stretched toward heaven. The love and power of Jesus were undeniable.

A Presidential Word of Hope
The service took on even more significance with the presence of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama, who delivered a heartfelt Easter message to the nation.

“Let us share generously and carry one another’s burdens,” the President said. “Even when Friday is the darkest, let us remember that resurrection is coming.”
He reminded the nation that we are called to live as salt and light, and that unity and truth must be the bedrock of Ghana’s progress.
A Nation at the Foot of the Cross
As the sun set over the capital, the cross of Jesus was lifted high—both literally and spiritually. The Good Friday Miracle Service 2025 was a solemn reminder of Christ’s suffering, but also a bold declaration of His victory. It was a call to repentance, to faith, and to revival.
At Charismata News, we believe this night was more than a service—it was a prophetic moment for Ghana and the Body of Christ. Jesus is still saving. Jesus is still healing. And the message of the Cross remains the power of God unto salvation.
