“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19
Very often, we are guided by old experiences and events of our past. Many people have failed to venture into new areas because of a negative past experience. In this scripture, God wants the believer to disregard such history. He presents two things to forget or place minimal value on:
1. The former things
2. The old experiences
These comprise bad and regrettable occurrences. Some of these may have ruined the plan for your life and left you nursing an emotional wound that knows no healing. God says forget them today because He intends to do A NEW THING.
This ‘new thing’ will be sporadic and will not involve human efforts. He aims to change your negative experiences into glorious ones. The new thing God does:
– Puts your life back in order
– Realigns your future and destiny
– Changes every negativity to positivity
Here’s how He does it: He makes the impossible possible in your life.
Beloved, regardless of your past, something new is about to happen. God needs your faith and requires your wholesome submission and patience to and for Him.
May God cause you to experience an unimaginable turnaround that will put your life back on track this week.
I love you. Welcome to a week of all possibilities and new beginnings.
Pray with me:
Heavenly Father, turn my life around. Make a way where there seems to be no way. Do a new thing in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
