How Do “You” See God?

-

Daniel 11:32b (KJV) but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

When you know God personally by having a cordial relationship with Him, you do exploits because you know what your father is capable of. It is your personal revelation that determines your exploits. Apostle Paul was already doing signs and wonders but he still prayed to know God more.

Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.

Paul prayed to have a deeper revelation of who God is. Many know God is powerful but they do not know him personally. See God from the eyes of the scriptures. When you worry, it is a sign that you don’t know God because if you know God, you will know what His word says and stop worrying.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

That you do not sin does not mean that you know God; that you have been a Christian for years does not mean that you know God. The prodigal son who was seen as a sinner knew his father more than the good son that was with his father.

Luke 15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger.

That you made mistakes does not mean you are not a child of God. The prodigal son realized his mistakes and decided to go back to his father. His father did not condemn him as he thought he would but embraced him and threw a party to celebrate his homecoming.

Some believers underestimate God with the kind of things they ask for because they do not know God personally. They just hear people say He is the owner of heaven and earth but have not experienced Him.

God has prepared the best for you and me; not for outsiders nor sinners. So ask for the best. Think big, talk big because your father is big. You can start small but you are not permitted to remain small.

To Moses, God revealed Himself as the ‘I am that I am’. To David, He revealed Himself as a conqueror; He never lost any battle. To Abraham, He revealed Himself as a provider – Jehovah Jireh.

He is God of all and reveals each side to any man as you seek Him. Never use another man’s revelation of God for yourself, who is God to you?

God bless you
