Sakumono PIWC Embarks On Evangelism Outreach At Dambai Lakeside District

-

The Evangelism Ministry of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC)-Sakumono, popularly referred to as “Life Seekers,” has embarked on a four-day evangelistic outreach at the Dambai Lakeside District in the Volta Region.

The outreach which took place from Wednesday, November 28, to Sunday, December 2, 2018, was preceded by a 21-day fasting and prayer.

The leader of the team, Brother Nana Obrempong Owusu, said the outreach was part of the mandate given by the Lord Jesus Christ to Christians to reach out with the gospel to lost souls and to heal the sick.

The outreach saw the power of God at work in the various communities the team preached the gospel through rallies, house-to-house evangelism and dawn broadcast. Many were healed and liberated from the bondage of the devil, while others were baptised in the Holy Spirit and imparted with spiritual gifts. Living testimonies were shared from the members about how the power of God has liberated them from various diseases. A total of 70 souls were won, out of which 55 received water baptism.

There was a free medical screening and counselling for the residents of Kpachie, Ayeremu, Kotokujani and Kelentin communities. The beneficiary communities lack access to health care facilities, hence they were so grateful to the team for the free medical screening.

The team also distributed clothing, shoes, toiletries, and Bibles to the residents. Stationeries were also given to school children, while about 600 children aged two years and above were administered with dewormers.

The team leader was grateful to the Teshie-Nungua Area Head, Apostle Dr. Alfred Koduah, for his support to the ministry. He was also full of appreciation to their Resident Minister, Pastor Anthony Owusu Sekyere Kwarteng, and the entire church for their varied support in making the outreach a success.
