I like the Message translation of this verse: “Fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out…God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you” (Romans 12:2 MSG).
If you want to take your life out of neutral, fix your attention on God—let Him establish your thoughts!
“Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.” Proverbs 16:3 NKJV
God will establish your thoughts; He will establish your thinking. He will give you a vision, a plan, and a strategy to accomplish what He has called you to do on a day-to-day basis. God will download His will for you as a vision—but it is your responsibility to write that vision and make it plain so you can act on it; so you can set goals and make decisions based on that vision.
Your decisions should be dictated by a God-inspired vision. If your life isn’t giving you the outcomes you want, ask God to align your thoughts with His purpose and give you a vision for accomplishing it.
Whatever God has called you to do; He will give you the grace to do it. “For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13 NKJV).
“God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.” Philippians 2:13 NLT
It is according to that power working in you that you are able to do more than you think you’re capable of.
God wants to make you aware of how much power you have—“for God has not given [you] a spirit of fear, but of power!” (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV).
And I want to make you aware of how much power you have! I guarantee you will be empowered like never before to dramatically accelerate your life! Expand your vision for what is possible for you!
