Wait Upon The Lord (Why Should You Wait?)

-

Indeed, none of those who [expectantly] wait for You will be ashamed; Those who turn away from what is right and deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed (humiliated, embarrassed).
Psalm 25:3 (AMP)

The scripture above relates to a powerful testimony shared by a young lady. She had been married for over a decade without a child. She did so much in the house of God but it seemed like she wasn’t getting any blessing in return. People didn’t waste time to remind her of how she was doing so much in church but was still not getting her miracle. This lady, knowing her God, did not listen to the ridicule of men, but waited and continued seeking the face of the Lord. Today, she is blessed with three beautiful children to the glory of God, because she waited on God.

Child of God you may be going through challenges and it has gotten to the point where the opinion of men is beginning to get to you; but wait on the Lord because:

  1. He does not lie (Numbers 23:19)
  2. It exalts His Name (Psalms 46:10)
  3. He is our help and shield (Psalms 33:20)

I want you to hold on and believe that whatever God has promised you, He will do.

“The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:14 (NLT)

Pray with me:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your word. Give me the strength to wait for the fulfillment of your promises in my life in Jesus’ name, Amen.
