What coat are you wearing? Is it a coat of blessing or a coat of cursing? Some people accept a coat of cursing and try to make it into a coat of blessing. “Look at my coat… I’m blessed.” But they have had to return their motorcar because of lack of payments and they are having their house repossessed, yet they say, “My Father gave this to me. It’s His will. I’m sick and diseased and my Father did this to me.”

If you’re guilty of doing this, you had better check out whose closet you’ve been looking in because you’ve picked up a coat that doesn’t come from heaven. You’ve picked up a coat from hell. There are some coats you want to lose; there are some coats you wouldn’t miss if you lost them. But you want to keep the coat your Father gave you.
