Open The Doors Of The Church To All – Apostle Nyamekye Charges Missionaries

0

The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, has encouraged both internal and external missionaries to open the gates of the church to all individuals, irrespective of their appearance or background.

According to the Chairman, for a missionary to be a good minister, he must have value for the human being, whatever the shade and looks.

He said this last month, during the 2023 Missions Orientation held at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), organised by the International Missions Directorate of the Church.

Under the theme “The Determination To Serve And The Delight of Sacrifice,” Apostle Nyamekye drew inspiration from John 15:13-16 to emphasise the importance of serving with determination and sacrificing for the cause of spreading the Gospel.

He said that the chief motivating factor in Paul’s ministry and in every ministry is the love for the Lord, noting, “You can never manage Jesus’ sheep if you do not love Jesus, for it is not about money. The delight in sacrifice is to lay down your life for your friend Jesus.”

The President of Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) highlighted that there are still problem people and people with problems, like the beggar at the beautiful gate, who expect to receive something from the church.

“We need not fail them without looking at merit or justice but just be a channel of God’s grace to mankind,” he added.

More Than 12,000 Begin Relationship With Christ in Venezuela

0

During the first weekend of July, the city of Mérida in the Andes Mountains of northwestern Venezuela welcomed a two-day evangelistic outreach in which tens of thousands of people heard the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ at the Guillermo Soto Rosa Stadium.

Festival de la Familia began with a special outreach event for children on Saturday morning. David Ruíz, guest speaker and associate evangelist with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), followed with two nights of proclaiming the Good News to all ages.

Since 2019, the Evangelical Council of Venezuela has taken Festival de la Familia to different cities of this tropical country—most recently in Puerto La CruzIsla de Margarita, and San Fernando de Apure.

“Our vision is for Venezuela to be reached for Jesus Christ,” said César Mermejo, president of the Evangelical Council. “We strongly believe that the only way a country can be changed is by first knowing the truth about our spiritual condition. … This is why we want to take the Gospel to all regions of Venezuela through these events.”

Located at an altitude of 5,384 feet, Mérida is famous for its historic Los Andes University, its colorful colonial buildings, and for being the highest and coldest city in a country that stays warm year-round.

But despite the physical charm of the city, its inhabitants have great spiritual needs and lack eternal hope. Local pastors believe that only 3% of the population has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and witchcraft and sorcery have become prevalent in the last few decades.

Well-Being Of Pastors Drops Significantly, Especially In Having True Friends: Study

0

In key measures of well-being such as physical, mental, emotional and overall health, pastors have suffered significant declines over the last seven years, especially when it comes to having true friends, a new report from Barna Research shows.

Citing data collected for their Resilient Pastor research from 2015 to 2022, the Evangelical polling organization showed pastors suffered significant declines in all areas of well-being when asked to rank how they felt as excellent, good, average, below average, poor or don’t know.

The 2015 data was collected between April and December that year and is based on 901 interviews with Protestant senior pastors in the U.S. The 2022 data was collected from Sept. 6-16, 2022, and was based on 585 online interviews with Protestant senior pastors in the U.S.

When it comes to having true friends, the data show that 20% of pastors in 2022 ranked themselves as below average in that area compared to 10% who did so in 2015. Another 7% ranked themselves as poor when it comes to having friends in 2022 compared to just 2% in 2015. While 34% of pastors ranked themselves as excellent when it comes to having true friends in 2015. That share dropped to 17% in 2022.

Pastors also indicated that their physical health suffered significantly between 2015 and 2022. In 2015, only 7% of pastors ranked their physical well-being as either below average or poor. Seven years later in 2022, that number has more than tripled to 22%, with some 18% reporting their condition as below average. Only 9% of pastors reported their physical health as excellent in 2022 compared to 24% who did so in 2015.

The share of pastors who reported their mental and emotional health as below average increased from 3% in 2015 to 10% in 2022. The share that reported their mental and emotional health was excellent also fell from 39% in 2015 to just 11% in 2022.

Ministry leaders who participated in The Summer Sabbatical webinar such as Resilient Pastor faculty member Sharon Hodde Miller, noted that pastors who take time to rest, replenish themselves, and are more mindful of their overall health tend to fare better on the measures.

No Weeping, No Gnashing!!!

0

What will make Pastors and Preachers of the good news weep and gnash their teeth?

But it looks like that it is possible for Pastors, Apostles, Prophets, Teachers and actually all church workers to weep and gnash their teeth at the judgement seat of Christ.

But what will bring this unfortunate situation?

If pastors do the work of God and forge the God of the work!
If pastors fail to be fruitful and expand the kingdom of God
If pastors fail to preach salvation by which, many can be saved etc.

All these are possible reasons why pastors may weep and gnash their teeth. But how does it come?

How do you avoid becoming someone who will weep and gnash your teeth? How do you identify the symptoms and escape it totally?

All these were expounded in the just ended Pastors Conference on the sidelines of the Healing Jesus Campaign in Libreville, Gabon.

It was a five-day campaign that saw five nights of salvation and wonderful miracles, so wonderful to believe, and four (4) mornings of serious, deep, Spirit- filled, Pastor to Pastor Conference themed ‘No weeping, No gnashing”.

Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills, is a well-travelled Evangelist who has taken the gospel of salvation across Africa. He shared deep truths that could lead any pastor to weep and gnash their teeth on judgment day.
