This is what is happening!!  If you thought that with Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke off the scene,
massive evangelism and mammoth sized crusades are a thing of the past – then think again!

God has raised another Evangelist, who is literally shaking up the nations of Africa
with massive evangelistic campaigns, which can only be compared to that of Bonnkes.
Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills goes from nation to nation with the simple gospel
of salvation and the healing of the sick.

Maputsoe, Lesotho

 Reinhard Bonnke, the hero of evangelism is remembered for his ‘combine harvester’ crusades;
he could preach to thousands and even millions in one single night. Another outstanding feature of
his crusades was his inexorable persistence in massive (and expensive) evangelistic crusades
across Africa for decades.

Many evangelistic ministries have held a few crusades, but are generally unable to persist with it and
continue for several years.

I guess massive evangelism is very expensive, and unfortunately affords very little human
acknowledgement. This is likely to be at least a contributing factor or a partial explanation as
to why some start and are forced to stop after a short while.

Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire

Thank God for Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills, who seems to have caught this rare mantle and is persisting relentlessly with massive crusades seeing as many as half a million in one single night. Evangelist Dag’s ‘Healing Jesus Campaign’, has been gathering entire cities, towns and villages in nations across Africa for the last 13 years.

Glory to God!

0

The founder and Presiding Bishop of Lighthouse Chapel International, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills has been elected to serve on the Executive Council of the Pentecostal World Fellowship.

He was elected at the just ended 24th Pentecostal World Conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil where tens of thousands from Pentecostal Churches from around the world converged.

Speaking to Citi News, Bishop E.A.T Sackey, Senior Associate to Bishop Dag Heward-Mills said his boss’ appointment shows that the world now recognizes the move of God in Africa.

“This is the first time an African has been lifted to the board of the Pentecostal World Council and I believe that the move of God in this time and era is really in Africa and South America. So I think Bishop Dag’s election to the Council really shows that the world now recognizes the move of God in Africa so I believe it is really significant,” he added.

The Fellowship which has been in existence for about six decades, is a cooperative body of Pentecostal churches and groups around the world.

At this year’s conference, one of the world’s most outstanding evangelists, Rheinhard Bonke was present. He said God directed him to attend the conference and hand over his mantle to the next generation of Christians.

Others voted onto the Executive Council at the conference were Dr. Young Hoon Lee, successor to Dr. David Yonggi Cho, Pastor of the largest church in the world and Bishop Charles Blake, the Presiding Bishop of the Church of God in Christ, a leading African American Pentecostal denomination. Bishop Blake’s church, the West Angeles Cathedral, is where Hollywood stars like Denzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson and Stevie Wonder fellowship.

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, who is also the founder of the Healing Jesus Campaign (Africa’s largest evangelistic organization), has grown the Lighthouse denomination from the humble beginnings in1988 of a single church in Accra, to a worldwide Christian denomination with close to three thousand branches in 83 countries.

Driven by his passion to fulfill God’s great commission, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills has defied all odds and stereotypes to establish Lighthouse Chapel International branches in all the five continents of the world.

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills through his books and Give-Thyself-Wholly-Work of the Ministry Conferences, has impacted the church world greatly. His books, targeted to pastors and people interested in doing the work of God serves as practical guides. Pastors adore these books globally. ‘Loyalty and Disloyalty’, the book for which he may be best known has been translated to nothing less than thirty languages including, Chinese, Portuguese, Hindi and Korean.

It is believed that these and many other contributions made to the church world, accounted for the overwhelming endorsement and subsequent election to serve on this august seven member body of renowned church leaders.

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, a trained Medical Doctor, has also served on the Church Growth International Board since 1997 and is the founder of the National Association for Charismatic and Christian Churches (NACCC) in Ghana.
