Every Decision Counts Pt 2

0
Praying that every new day will bring the dawn of new and better possibilities!
Don’t leave the outcome of this next year to chance. If you’re not experiencing the life you’ve dreamed of, you can do something about it.

You can overcome the struggles you face by filling your thoughts and words with God’s light and truth each and every day.

Take control of your day by taking control of your mornings!

“How you spend your morning will tell you what kind of day you are going to have.” – Lemony Snicket

An unknown author observed:

This is the beginning of a new day.

You have been given this day to use as you will.

You can waste it or use it for good.

What you do today is important

Because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.

When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever.

In its place is something that you have left behind…

Let it be something good.

The power to create a massively successful year is in your hands!

You decide. You choose.

You control your destiny by controlling your decisions…

One thought, one decision at a time.

Your Adversary Is A Defeated Foe

0
So just what exactly does the devil have in his arsenal? Not much. Only deception. He has to deceive you. How does he do that? He convinces you through craftiness to drop your weapons and run. He’s a good talker. He will use some very deceptive words to convince you that you can’t win whatever struggle you are facing.

We have all the tools we need to defeat the devil. We have the the armor of God, the powerful name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit and angelic beings at our disposal, and the devil comes up to us and threatens us by saying, “You’ll never make it. You’ll always be a failure. I’m gonna take everything you’ve got.” And we drop all our weapons and act like heaven doesn’t exist, like the name of Jesus is no more powerful than any other name, and we run away. Why? Because we are afraid. We accept his lies as truth and believe what he says, instead of what God says.

Yet God has already equipped us to win. There is no excuse for us being defeated. Our adversary is already a defeated foe. Jesus has already beaten him at Calvary. If we allow fear to overtake us, then we are letting someone who has already been defeated talk us into dropping our weapons. That’s not very smart.

Let me tell you something. The storms you may be experiencing in your life right now could very well be at their end. The eye of the hurricane could have already passed over you. But Satan is going to keep throwing up smoke screens and thunder and lightning and all kinds of things to make you think this is going to be with you forever. He’s going to do whatever he needs to do to cause you to panic.

Don’t be like the people in Psalm 78:8 who did not have a steadfast spirit, who did not set their hearts right and gave up in the day of battle. Remember, the Lord has gotten you out of seemingly impossible situations before, and He’ll get you out again!

Don’t give the devil a favorable position. Do not fear, because God is on your side.

Confession: I will not step back. I will not give up. I hold steadfast to the promises I have in the Word. God is on my side whom shall I fear.

Wait Upon The Lord (Why Should You Wait?)

0
Indeed, none of those who [expectantly] wait for You will be ashamed; Those who turn away from what is right and deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed (humiliated, embarrassed).
Psalm 25:3 (AMP)

The scripture above relates to a powerful testimony shared by a young lady. She had been married for over a decade without a child. She did so much in the house of God but it seemed like she wasn’t getting any blessing in return. People didn’t waste time to remind her of how she was doing so much in church but was still not getting her miracle. This lady, knowing her God, did not listen to the ridicule of men, but waited and continued seeking the face of the Lord. Today, she is blessed with three beautiful children to the glory of God, because she waited on God.

Child of God you may be going through challenges and it has gotten to the point where the opinion of men is beginning to get to you; but wait on the Lord because:

  1. He does not lie (Numbers 23:19)
  2. It exalts His Name (Psalms 46:10)
  3. He is our help and shield (Psalms 33:20)

I want you to hold on and believe that whatever God has promised you, He will do.

“The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:14 (NLT)

Pray with me:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your word. Give me the strength to wait for the fulfillment of your promises in my life in Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out.” Romans 12:2 MSG
Many people feel powerless to control their lives and circumstances. They know they’re not getting everything they’re supposed to get out of life, but they can’t figure out why.

Life is not subject to chance, but to choice.

It doesn’t have to be a mystery, and you don’t have to walk through it powerless to change the direction you’re headed.

If you’re not experiencing divine success and prosperity, you can do something about it.

The power for change is in your hands—in your heart and in your head!

The power for prosperity…the power for health and healing…the power for a successful ministry, marriage, business, relationship, or whatever you need is a result of what you allow to rule in your heart and in your head!

God has a plan for your personal world, but it depends on you first taking control of the decisions you make every day.

You are always one decision away from living the life of your dreams!

Envision the next 12 months: What one choice could make on a daily basis that would change the trajectory of your life?

What if you chose to exercise for 30 minutes every day?

What if you invested 30 minutes every evening reading about an area that could advance your career?

What if you chose to start each day with prayer?

Today could be the day that everything changes—but the outcome depends on consistently making one life-defining choice at a time.

If you’re ready to take charge of your life, choose to start your day with the Commanding Your Morning Daily Devotional. This one resource will equip you to take command of your life—every single day of the year—from the moment you wake up.

Lecrae, Natalie Grant, Gospel Stars Join Kirk Franklin In Boycott Of TBN, Dove Awards

0
Rapper Lecrae, Marvin Sapp, contemporary Christian artist Natalie Grant and an avalanche of gospel and secular artists are voicing their support for Kirk Franklin’s boycott of TBN, the Gospel Music Association, and the Dove Awards until they address the musicians’ diversity concerns.

The support comes after Franklin charged in a Monday video statement on Instagram that TBN removed parts of his acceptance speeches from his 2016 and 2019 appearances at Dove Awards shows which advocated for racial justice and reconciliation. He charged that when he approached representatives from all the organizations about the situation, he was not provided a satisfactory response. The GMA said in a statement that it’s now working toward addressing Franklin’s concerns.

While Franklin said his decision to boycott the organizations was personal and he was not asking anyone else to join him, influential icons such as Lecrae, who has long been speaking out on issues of racial justice, quickly chimed in.

“I only came cause you came. You know I’m out,” Lecrae responded to Franklin’s post.

In 2015, Lecrae challenged his “white brothers and sisters” to explain why they never protest when he talks about issues like abortion or the Islamic State terror group, but usually express concern when he speaks out about racial injustice.

Fear Not; God Is Your Security

0
You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, 26 for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap………….Proverbs 3:25-26 (NLT)

The world today is slipping so fast into disaster. You hear of bomb blasts today, the next day hurricane, earthquake, fire, etc.

Every single day on earth has got a disastrous even/story to offer; and many are living in fear, not knowing what disaster or destruction would befall them. But the word of the Lord says today, FEAR NOT!

Do not be afraid of sudden disaster, do not be afraid of sudden fire, sudden death, sudden poverty, sudden bomb blast, or destruction, because the Lord is your security, He is your guide and guard; He will shield you and keep you from destruction.

Rest in His ability today, trust Him to do what He says He would do.

Francis Chan: Churches Must Lay Out Gospel Even When Unpopular: ‘Jesus Had No Problem Losing The Crowds’

0
Notable preacher and author Francis Chan implored churches to be willing to proclaim the Gospel without sugarcoating it, declaring that “Jesus had no problem losing the crowds.”
In a speech given as part of the Q Commons event on Thursday, which was broadcast to several locations in the United States and internationally, Chan preached on 2nd Corinthians 4:2-4.

“We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God,” reads the passage.

Chan admitted to struggling with the passage, noting that the Bible calls on churches, lamenting that “in this day in age, You want me to just say it directly, rather than nuance it carefully?”

“Paul had no problem with just saying ‘I’m just going to lay it all out, because if you don’t get it, it’s because the god of this world is blinding your minds,’” said Chan.

Chan believed that churches in the United States need to do a better job of teaching “the fear of God” and that “there is a judgment that’s coming,” noting that the Bible is “so much about the judgment of God.”

“Wouldn’t it be better to not talk about a fear of God, not to talk about His holiness, and just kind of slowly talk to them about their needs, their hurts, their feelings?” he commented, believing that some seek “to leave that stuff” about judgment and fearing God “for later.”

“Jesus had no problem losing the crowds. We’re infatuated with numbers. Jesus wasn’t.”

Chan was critical of the claim that it was better to water down preaching the Gospel in order to reach a broader audience, responding “why didn’t Jesus do that?”

“God wants His church to be pure,” added Chan.

Heavenly Places

0
Who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. And made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 1:3 and 2:6 NKJV)
Although we are residents of Earth throughout the years of our natural lifetime, from our spiritual position in Christ we are with Him in the heavenly places.

What this means is, God will meet all of our needs now, while we are alive on Earth, just as if we were already in heaven. From a biblical standpoint, everything that Jesus has is available to us, for the Bible says, “God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19 NKJV).

Knowing this truth will enable you to never again view yourself from a position of trying to get something from God. He’s already given you everything you will ever need; your responsibility is to simply receive it.

First, be diligent to imagine yourself seated in heavenly places, unaffected by Adam’s curse: no poverty, no lack, no sickness, and no pain or depression; just an abundance of every good thing.

Second, begin to see yourself with the abundance that you actually have in heavenly paces. When you do, this abundance will start to manifest in the physical realm.

As you consistently perceive yourself as living in heavenly places, your natural circumstances will begin to change, coming into line with God’s Word that declares all of your need is supplied by His riches in Christ Jesus!

Confession: I am seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places. In Him my every need is met, and I have an abundance to give to those in need. I receive all of the blessings that God has for me.

Deeper Revelation Of God

0
How do “you” see God?
Daniel 11:32b (KJV) but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
When you know God personally by having a cordial relationship with Him, you do exploits because you know what your father is capable of. It is your personal revelation that determines your exploits. Apostle Paul was already doing signs and wonders but he still prayed to know God more.

Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.

Paul prayed to have a deeper revelation of who God is. Many know God is powerful but they do not know him personally. See God from the eyes of the scriptures. When you worry, it is a sign that you don’t know God because if you know God, you will know what His word says and stop worrying.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

That you do not sin does not mean that you know God; that you have been a Christian for years does not mean that you know God. The prodigal son who was seen as a sinner knew his father more than the good son that was with his father.

Luke 15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger.

That you made mistakes does not mean you are not a child of God. The prodigal son realized his mistakes and decided to go back to his father. His father did not condemn him as he thought he would but embraced him and threw a party to celebrate his homecoming.

Some believers underestimate God with the kind of things they ask for because they do not know God personally. They just hear people say He is the owner of heaven and earth but have not experienced Him.

God has prepared the best for you and me; not for outsiders nor sinners. So ask for the best. Think big, talk big because your father is big. You can start small but you are not permitted to remain small.

To Moses, God revealed Himself as the ‘I am that I am’. To David, He revealed Himself as a conqueror; He never lost any battle. To Abraham, He revealed Himself as a provider – Jehovah Jireh.

He is God of all and reveals each side to any man as you seek Him. Never use another man’s revelation of God for yourself, who is God to you?

See With Eyes Of Faith

0
If you want heaven’s abundance, you must see what other people can’t see!
What do you see today? It makes no difference whether you are in a wheel chair, don’t see a sick man or woman, see a healed man or a healed woman.

I don’t care how many devils are against you. Don’t see a defeated man, see a victorious man! I don’t care how difficult your nation is. I don’t care how difficult your city is. For if you can see it, you can have it!

What you see is what you’ll get!

If you can see it, it shall come to pass!

I have people tell me:

  • “I need to leave Nigeria!”
  • “The economy is horrible.”
  • “The political climate is terrible!”
  • “Everything is terrible.”

I say, “Thank you, but I see something else! I see the glory of God! I see the victory!”

Don’t run from your nation, don’t run from your city, don’t run from your people! Something is about to happen. God will visit you, and heaven will invade the earth. Something is about to happen!

What do you see?

Here are some of the things I see:

  • The hand of God will intervene in your life.
  • The hand of God will intervene in your marriage.
  • The hand of God will intervene in your business.

Get Ready for the abundance of Got to rain upon you!

Now let me ask you another question: Are you ready to see with eyes of faith?

Are you ready to have what you see come to pass?

Say this faith declaration out loud:

By the divine hand of God, I will command abundance by seeing what others can’t. Through God’s intervention, in the darkness I will be given light and clarity to find the way.
