By His Spirit, We Are Heirs To All That The Father Has!
We have received a DOUBLE-PORTION ANOINTING of God’s Spirit. We are heirs of God!
Beloved, it is our inheritance and legally belongs to us! But until we RECEIVE IT AND ACT on God’s promises, we will never be able to take possession of it!

Through the power of the Holy Spirit within us, we have become sons of the living God, and are legal heirs to ALL THAT THE FATHER HAS!

Just as Paul told the Romans:

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Romans 8:15

The Spirit which we have received … Who lives within us, bears witness that we are children of God. And, as His children, we are HIS LEGAL HEIRS!

Paul continued by saying:

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Romans 8:17

He told the Galatians:

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Galatians 4:6-7, emphasis added

BY HIS SPIRIT within us, we are no longer bondservants without privileges or legal rights, but we have FULL LEGAL RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES as sons of God to our inheritance of all that the Father has!

A DOUBLE-PORTION ANOINTING of His Spirit is part of our spiritual inheritance. We don’t have to plead or beg for it … it’s already ours!

Knowing this, we must come BOLDLY before God, as Elisha did in asking for a double-portion anointing of God’s Spirit that was upon Elijah, and ask Him to release a double-portion anointing of His Spirit into our lives.

This week, I invite you to reflect on what it means to be heirs of God … knowing now that you have always been one of them! As part of His family, what are we called to do in service for Him as well as to one another? It may not be easy, but for Him, it is worth it!

Righteousness Consciousness – PT 1
Righteousness is a free gift of God provided by Jesus Christ at Calvary through the grace of God. It simply means being in right standing with God. This is not referring to your good work or pious look; it is referring to God’s righteousness. The kingdom of God is a kingdom of righteousness.

Rom. 14:17 -For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Righteousness is God’s nature bestowed on man through the Lord Jesus Christ while Consciousness is a mindset personally developed and programmed to believe in any particular thing in a certain way. It is a belief-system that you allow to control your life.

Righteousness consciousness therefore is having your mind configured or programmed with the thought or certain belief that you share God’s nature of righteousness with HIM by being born again. It means being obsessively aware that you are righteous regardless of your past activities; having Christ in you.

Self-righteousness is simply morality without Christ (Mark 10:17-22). Some people think that they are righteous because they are morally sound or don’t do evil but this is not true. You are not righteous because you don’t commit sin; you are only righteous when you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Self-righteousness does not guarantee heaven

Isaiah 64:6a -But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;

Practical-righteousness is when you are living right as a child of God based on the standards of the Word of God.

1John 3:7 -Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Acts 10:35 – But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Positional-righteousness is not by merit, good works or living right but it is the free gift of God (Rom. 4:3-6). It is not what you did or earned but what Jesus did on your behalf. This righteousness is God clothing you with His divine nature the moment you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

When you accept Jesus Christ, you move into a position of New Birth. God accepts you on the basis of what Jesus did; not what you did. Just like you became a nationality of your country by being born in that country, so also, you are positioned in righteousness the moment you become born again.

Large numbers of Iranian Muslims are walking away from Islam and toward Christianity, a new documentary says.
According to the Frontier Alliance International Studios’ Sheep Among Wolves Volume II documentary, inside of Iran — a country where the majority of the citizens are Muslim — the “fastest-growing church” in the world is blossoming underground. 

One unidentified Iranian church leader even went as far as to say that “Islam is dead” in Iran.

The church leader — who remained anonymous for their protection — asked, “What if I told you Islam is dead? What if I told you the mosques are empty inside Iran? What if I told you no one follows Islam inside of Iran? Would you believe me?”

“This is exactly what is happening inside of Iran. God is moving powerfully inside of Iran,” the church leader asserted.

The church leader also shared that they believe that Ayatollah Khomeini is “the best evangelist for Jesus.”

“The ayatollahs brought the true face of Islam to light and people discovered it was a lie … After 40 years under Islamic law — a utopia according to them — they’ve had the worst devastation in the 5,000-year history of Iran,” the leader said.

According to Fox News, the church is without buildings, property or central leadership, but still, it is steadily growing. The movement’s aim is not to plant churches, but to grow discipleship.

“The seismic shift that’s happened in the church of Iran is, when all these church planters found out that converts run away from persecution, but disciples would die for the Lord in persecution,” the church leader said.

“Disciples forsake the world and cling to Jesus ’till he comes. Converts don’t. Disciples aren’t engaged in a culture war. Converts are. Disciples cherish, obey, and share the word of God. Converts don’t. Disciples choose Jesus over anything and everything else. Converts don’t. Converts run when the fire comes. Disciples don’t,” the leader asserted.

The underground movement — which is pro-Israel and is largely led by women — is being dubbed by film director Dalton Thomas, the “Iranian Awakening.”

Boko Haram Militants Execute Two Christian Aid Workers

Islamic extremist group Boko Haram has released a video in which its militants executed two Christian aid workers in Nigeria and vow to kill every believer they capture in the future.

According to Morning Star News, the terrorist group released the video last week on its official news agency site Amaq. In the video, Lawrence Duna Dacighir and Godfrey Ali Shikagham, both members of the Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN) in Plateau state, are shown kneeling while three masked, armed men stand behind them.

The two young men, who had gone to Maiduguri to help build shelters for people displaced by Islamic extremist violence, are then shot from behind. Speaking in the Hausa language, one terrorist states the group has vowed to kill every Christian they capture in revenge for Muslims killed in past religious conflicts in Nigeria.

Pastor Pofi, a cousin of the two executed Christians, told Morning Star News that the two men were captured by Boko Haram, now called the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP), as they carried out their work in a displaced persons camps.

“Lawrence and Godfrey left Abuja for Maiduguri in search of opportunities to utilize their skills for the betterment of humanity and paid with their lives,” Pofi said. “We will never get their corpses to bury. The community will have to make do with a makeshift memorial to these young lives cut short so horrifically.”

Pastor Pofi argued that if the federal government had created economic opportunities for those tempted to join extremist groups and had returned security to the country, the two Christian men would not be dead.

Franklin Graham Tells Military Community of ‘Most Courageous Person in History’
For months, cities across North Carolina have been preparing for the eight-stop Decision America Tar Heel State Tour. Though Franklin Graham has grown up and lives in North Carolina, Tuesday was his first time preaching in Fayetteville.

An estimated 9,200 people formed rows of blankets and lawn chairs in Festival Park.

Many military families have made a home in Fayetteville, best known for U.S. Army base Fort Bragg, the last stop for Franklin Graham’s son, Edward, during his 16-year military career.

“Courage is to be admired. We know that in this city. There are many men and women of valor here,” Franklin Graham said Tuesday. “But let me tell you about the most courageous person in history. … That is Jesus Christ.”

Franklin Graham spent time talking about honor and integrity, characteristics held in high regard, especially in the military. While both are positive and worthy of admiration, he said, “Honor and integrity are not enough to satisfy God.” Only Jesus’ perfect sacrifice is worthy of a perfect God.

Franklin Graham’s message focused on 2 Kings 5, the story of Naaman, a Syrian army commander. Naaman was a powerful, yet prideful man who suffered from leprosy and was healed by God through the prophet Elisha. His healing led Naaman to forsake the pagan gods and follow the one true God.

The crowd was encouraged to pray for their city, state and the nation before Franklin Graham got into his message.

The Tar Heel State Tour continues today in Greenville, before heading to Wilmington, Raleigh, Greensboro, Hickory, Charlotte and Asheville.

Ontario Celebration With Will Graham Starts Friday
Excitement has been building for the Quinte Celebration of Hope with Will Graham in Belleville, Ontario, for some time. The free, three-day event happening October 4-6 will include Christian music and testimonies, children’s outreach and a Gospel message from Will Graham.

Located two hours east of Toronto, the Celebration in Belleville is expected to draw people from all around the Quinte region to the CAA Arena. Many more are expected to watch via live stream.

The Celebration is a partnership with local churches and believers, and encompasses much more than the actual weekend events. To this point, the Quinte community has held prayer gatherings, worship events, and evangelism and discipleship training. Dozens of churches have prayed and prepared for the Celebration for many months.

God’s Hand

Powell Slimmon made a promise to his mother. It turned out to be a promise he couldn’t keep, but the Belleville, Ontario, resident is doing the next best thing—supporting the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s Quinte Celebration of Hope with Will Graham.

Powell Slimmon holds up a picture of his mom, Gladys. At the 1955 Billy Graham Crusade in Glasgow, Scotland, she felt a strong urge her to leave her seat, walk forward and pray to receive Christ. Powell recalls her description of that moment: “It was like this big hand, pushing me up.”

Powell’s mother, Gladys, attended a 1955 Billy Graham Crusade in Glasgow, Scotland. When Billy Graham invited everyone to come forward and give their lives to “the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:15, ESV), Powell recalled the words Gladys told him: “It was like this big hand, pushing me up.”

Then, Gladys told her son how Billy Graham noticed her, took her by the hand and personally led her to Christ.

The story stayed with Powell for years. When he learned Billy’s Graham’s grandson Will Graham would lead a Celebration in the Quinte Region, he promised his mother he’d take her.

“Mom told me she was excited, and you could see her eyes sparkle as she remembered her past,” Powell explained.

Sadly, Gladys died last January at age 88. But that has spurred on Powell—who came to faith in Christ at age 42—to become involved in the Celebration, including attending the launch event in March. It was packed, with more than 650 people from over 50 churches and Christian organizations.

“Something told me to be here at the launch, and I know it’s the Holy Spirit,” Powell said. “The Celebration reaches the heart of people who may have been unaware [of their need for Christ]. It softens hearts.”

In September, many came to Momentum—a prayer and worship event ahead of the Quinte Celebration of Hope with Will Graham. The community prayed for unbelievers to come to know Christ, including those they’re inviting to the outreach.

Church Leaders Denounce Abortion, Gay Marriage Legalization In Northern Ireland
An ecumenical coalition of Irish denominations have released a joint statement denouncing the upcoming decriminalization of abortion and legalization of same-sex marriage in the Republic of Northern Ireland due to a vote taken by British Parliament.

In July, British Parliament held two votes that legalized abortion and same-sex marriage in the Republic of Northern Ireland; they will likely take effect on Oct. 21 unless the British nation forms a government that counters the votes.

Leaders representing the Church of Ireland, Methodist Church in Ireland, Roman Catholic Church, Presbyterian Church in Ireland and the Irish Council of Churches released a joint statement on Monday calling on people to lobby local elected officials about the changes.

The joint statement denounced the Parliament votes, stating that it there “is no evidence that these changes reflect the will of the people affected by them, as they were not consulted.”

“We are calling on the Secretary of State to recall the Assembly before 21 October to provide an opportunity for the parties to take the necessary steps both to prevent these laws coming onto effect and to find a better Northern Ireland solution for these challenging issues,” stated the churches.

Confident Faith
Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. (Hebrews 10:34-35 NKJV)

Did you know your ability to stand on God’s Word and stay focused on what you cannot yet see with your eyes will determine how much of God’s goodness manifests in your life?

Every promised victory we achieve in life is made up of these three components:

  1. The initial assurance and confidence that God is going to come through
  2. The season where it appears as though nothing is happening
  3. The manifestation of the promise

I’ve learned it is the second component that usually offers the greatest challenge to our faith. So, how do you remain confident and exercise patience when nothing appears to be happening?

You do what Moses did. The Bible says, “For he looked forward and away to the reward (recompense) … he never flinched but held staunchly to his purpose and endured steadfastly as one who gazed on Him Who is invisible” (Hebrews 11:26-27 AMP).

Moses kept his eyes on the reality of the invisible, not on the visible natural circumstances. This ability to stay focused on the reward ahead enabled Moses to be faithful and fulfill God’s calling on his life.

Every challenge you will ever face is an opportunity for you to build strength of character to endure the “nothing is happening” seasons of life. Determine to remain confident and endure these seasons with patience, and you will most certainly see the manifestation of God’s promise.

Confession: I hold fast to my confident faith as I choose to continue in the will of God for my life. I fix my eyes on Him, fully assured that in due season I will receive the promised victory.

Regardless of what your financial circumstances or problems may be today, don’t allow Satan to intimidate you! Don’t allow yourself to become so filled with fear and worry concerning your finances that you cannot receive what you need from God. God wants to BREAK THE CYCLE OF DEBT in your life once and for all!

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19, NIV

Whatever you do, don’t withhold from God. As you enter this End-time Covenant of Giving with God, make a 100 percent commitment of all that you have to Him. Determine to be a faithful steward of all the finances He places within your hands by distributing them according to HIS Word, under HIS direction, to fulfill HIS will upon the earth today.

Beloved, I want you to see the cycle of debt broken and financial chains that have you bound right now completely torn asunder FOREVER. I want you to enter into a new relationship with your heavenly Father so that you will walk in His abundant provision where all your needs are met.

The time for you to act is now, while the anointing of God is flowing, to break financial bondage off God’s people.
