Set No Trap For Others

0

If you set a trap for others, you will get caught in it yourself. If you roll a boulder down on others, it will crush you instead…………Proverbs 26:27(NLT)

We live in a world where several persons do not seek the progress of others; a world where many successful and unsuccessful people do not want others to succeed; a world where people set traps for others once they see them succeeding.

Today’s lesson from the Proverbs comes as a warning, do not set traps for others because you will be caught in it. Do not dig a pit for your neighbor, do not seek the downfall of others because it will always backfire on you.

Friend, are there things you’ve done against your friends, neighbors, business partners, etc., because they are succeeding, go today and remove them, settle every issue it is so you can move ahead unto good success.

Jonathan McReynolds

0

Jonathan Caleb McReynolds (born September 17, 1989) is an American gospel musician. Hailed as one of the leaders of the new school of gospel, he has garnered millions of fans worldwide and broken new ground for gospel in mainstream media.

He began his music career in 2012 with the release of Life Music via Entertainment One Music. He has had two #1 Billboard Gospel Albums since with Life Music: Stage Two (2015) and Make Room (2018), eight Stellar Awards, a GMA Dove Award and three Grammy Award nominations.

McReynolds was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 17, 1989,[2] as Jonathan Caleb McReynolds.[3] He was raised by a single mother[4] with love and support from his family, church members and his pastor at New Original Church of God in Christ.

Known to be a very precocious kid, he learned to play the drums at five years old, the piano at eight, and weekly showcased his talents as a church musician.

He was a reluctant singer to say the least, but in high school began to break out of his shell, eventually taking his talents to the public, rather than simply his living room.

He attended Whitney Young Magnet High School, where not only did he become known for his musical talents, but also learned how to record and produce music, as a member of the school’s podcast initiative.

Those skills would prove to be significant in college as he recorded his first songs including his first viral hit “No Gray” in his dorm room.

His music career was started in 2012, with the release of Life Music on September 25, 2012, by Light Records and Entertainment One Music. This was his breakthrough released on the Billboard charts, and it placed at No. 98 on Billboard 200 along with Gospel Albums at No. 3, and at No. 23 on the Independent Albums chart.  His song “No Gray” was a viral smash that earned him TV appearances on BET’s Celebration of Gospel and fans in India Arie and Nicki Minaj.

McReynolds’s second album Life Music: Stage Two was Grammy Award nominated, a Billboard Gospel #1 album for four weeks, and a GMA Dove Award winner. It featured Israel Houghton, India.Arie and Chantae Cann and his first top five gospel hit “Gotta Have You.”

Rating the album five stars for Journal of Gospel Music, Bob Marovich says, “Life Music, Stage Two is the musical manifestation of his honest and spiritually grounded approach to dealing with the vicissitudes of daily life.”

McReynolds brought on yet another popular R&B talent, Tweet, on his EP Sessions (2016) This unannounced, surprise release reached the #1 on the iTunes Christian chart in one night.

Jonathan’s latest album Make Room was Jonathan’s biggest success yet, earning him eight Stellar Awards and two Grammy Award nominations. It also debuted #1 on Billboard Gospel charts. Make Room touted his first #1 radio hit “Not Lucky, I’m Loved” and the huge viral smash “Cycles.” This album garnered public support from stars of different cultures and genres.

This project gave strong evidence to Kirk Franklin’s claim that Jonathan is, in fact, “the future of Gospel Music.” In March 2018, he broke major ground for gospel, when his one hour TV special “Make Room” aired multiple times on TVOne.

He was also the first in his genre to form a major partnership with Tidal. If all that was not enough, McReynolds just missed the bestseller list with his book “Make Room: Finding Where Faith Fits” that he released in the fall of 2018.

God’s Blessing 1

0
When I look at my life and all the favor God has shown me, I often say, “I know I must be God’s favorite.” Of course, I know God doesn’t play favorites, but I just can’t help feeling that way seeing how good God has been to me.
Would you like to see more of God’s blessing and favor on your life?

In the book of Psalms, David declared, concerning God and His blessing, “Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah” (Psalm 3:8). Selah means to take a moment and think about this truth.

What does it mean to have God’s blessing on your life? How would God’s blessing change the circumstances you’re facing? How would it affect your relationships, finances, and health?

I have found that God’s blessing is an empowerment that causes you to prosper and succeed. Not just for your own personal gain, but to accomplish the vision and purpose of God for your life and family.

God’s blessing will open doors of opportunities and give you influence that education or money can’t produce.

As a follower of Christ, God’s blessing is available to you! God wants you so blessed and so favored that people will see it and be attracted to the God you serve.

We see this happen in the life of Abraham recorded in Genesis. God spoke to Abraham in Genesis 12:2 saying, “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.”

“Make your name great” means people will know you. Some translations say that you will be made famous. This means people will see and know how blessed and favored you are by God.

Tap Into Heaven’s Provision – Pt 3

In that respect, storehouses are very different from bank accounts today. If we need more, we can always borrow—and that is where many of us get into trouble.
“The borrower is a slave to the lender.” Proverbs 22:7

This is why budgeting is so important. Each budget category is like a storehouse if we keep our budgets correctly. When the money in that category is gone, we stop spending.

At the same time, our budgets should include bigger “storehouses” for things such as an emergency fund, a college fund, and a retirement fund for the day we can pay ourselves to do what God wants us to do.

The more wisdom we obtain in this area, the wealthier we will be.

Think of Joseph who built storehouses in times of plenty in preparation for times of drought.

When Jesus tells the parable of the Rich Fool in Luke 12:16-21, the audience knew that storehouses were important for survival. They knew they had to save in order to have several months of reserves in case of a calamity.

At the same time, they knew that whatever they had beyond that amount was more than enough—and could be used to build God’s Kingdom and help others.

Today, we should have the same mentality of saving.

We should not only have money to take care of ourselves no matter what we face—but because we’ve predetermined what the size our storehouses should be, whatever else can be given away or invested in Kingdom endeavors.

How To Find Your Wife – Pt 2

0
I found my wife where I was serving God and she was serving God so passionately.
Join a small group in church, serve actively; that is where you will find people with similar values with you. You can also meet people at work, you meet people in your neighborhood, get involved, maintain your relationship with your relations and your friends, and visit people.

Pray once you find someone that you think he/she is the person. Pray more and do research, ask the person as many questions as you can about her background, what she likes and what she doesn’t likes, her values and so on..

Get some of your friends who are spiritual to pray along with you. If you feel stronger about it, mention it to a pastor or a leader in church. These are your safety net, this is one of the most important decision you are making in your life, get other people to help you to pray about it

Someone asked me to pray for him many years ago. He said; I have found a lady I love so much. I have never loved a lady like that in my life.

I said to him ‘okay’ just give me short time to pray before you lunch your manifesto.

Few weeks later he came to me and asked; sir! How far? I said I’m still praying.

He came back again after a week to ask same question, then I said to him that if I am to be honest with you, I don’t see both of you together in my spirit.

Few days later he came to me again to thank me because he discovered some hidden secret about the lady.

I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that the God of covenant who has a plan for your destiny, that God will move on your behalf. Your marital destiny shall be built on revelation. He will guide you, instruct you and show you favor in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. I prophesy by the power of the Holy Spirit for everyone who has made mistakes before, with God there is restoration. I prophesy healing in the name of Jesus and I prophesy restoration. I prophesy by the power of the Holy Spirit, your divine connection in marriage will come by revelation.

Defining Your Life

0
When you lack mission and purpose in life, others will define your life for you. You cannot wake up in the morning and start moving from one place to another without direction and definition of what your day will be. When your life lacks definition, you will spend it doing irrelevant things, making unending irrelevant calls and embarking on roller-coaster visitations to places you are not welcomed; that is selling off the future.

It is important to take your life in your hand and tell yourself that you are absolutely responsible for the outcome of your life. When you define your life, it will enable you to live as commanded by God and demanded by your future destiny; not as convenient. It is not convenient for a student to study all-night but it is demanded by the season that he is in to burn the midnight oil in order to come out successfully in his exams or he fails.

Neh.4:23 – So neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard which followed me, none of us put off our clothes, saving that everyone put them off for washing.

Be a law to yourself in a bid to accomplish your desired goal.

Gen.39:9b – … how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

Your future should be more precious to you that the immediate pleasures of the world; you must forgo the pleasure if you want to accomplish your desired goal.

Neh.5:14-16 -Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor. 15 But the former governors that had been before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God. 16 Yea, also I continued in the work of this wall, neither bought we any land: and all my servants were gathered thither unto the work.

When you define your life, God will raise you as one of the Nehemiah army of leaders of our time to set HIS people free because of your self-discipline. When you define your life, you place yourself under self-set rules and establish boundaries around you so you can go for only what will build, edify and secure your future.

1Cor.10:23 -All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

When you define your life, it will make you operate without requiring supervision towards the delivery of the task given to you. You will not need anyone to shout at you or monitor you before you do the right thing. Let that be your lifestyle from today and the God who sees in the secret will reward you openly in the name of Jesus the Christ –Amen!

Name It, Claim It And Take It

0
“Name it, claim it and take it”, is simply a descriptive term for exercising your faith. Every Christian must have faith and must exercise it! Faith is the reason for breakthroughs and miracles in our lives.

Faith is the reason for answers to prayer.  Generally speaking, people who have faith are more prosperous than those who do not.  I have noticed a difference between Christians who walk by faith and those who do not!

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. – Hebrews 10:38

God is saying that if you draw away from faith, He will not be pleased with you. There are those who think that faith is not so important. They tend to draw away from the faith message and faith people. They feel that there must rather be an emphasis on patience, gentleness, holiness, etc. I believe these are important, and they all play special roles in the Christian life.

I see you walking in the great blessings of Jehovah!  I see you enjoying an abundant life in God!  I see you free from sickness and disease!  I see the power of curses broken in your life!  I see that God is pleased with you because you believe in Him!

From today, never doubt any part of God’s Word.  Accept that you are the champion He is speaking about.  Flow with the message of prosperity, healing and abundance.   Always remember that God is happy when you believe in Him.

God is not a God of poverty. Since I came to know the Lord I have not decreased in any way.  I do not read about decrease, failure, setbacks and limitations in the Bible.  I see only abundance, promotion and deliverance from my enemies. I see God lifting me up everyday!

God did not bring you to Christ in order to demote and disgrace you.  He brought you to Christ to lift and establish you in an abundant life.
