Pastor Chris Oyakhilome And Us Ambassador To Israel David Friedman Exclusive Interview – Pt 2

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was recently granted an exclusive interview with President Trump’s appointed United States Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman. Pastor Chris is the world-renowned pastor of Christ Embassy, who founded and leads LoveWorld Incorporated, a global Christian organization headquartered in Nigeria…

Friedman contends that the shared values and shared accomplishments of Israel and the United States have contributed to the formation of a strong bond between the two countries, conceding that Israel has achieved all of this at a much greater risk to its security than the United States.

Pastor Chris questioned the ambassador about the recent heightened rhetoric from Iran against the United States and Israel. Ambassador Friedman acknowledged growing concerns about Iran’s activity in the region, which includes a ramping up of activity throughout the Southern and Northern Crescents – in Yemen, Iraq and in Syria.

Continuing the security discussion, Pastor Chris asked the ambassador about the motivations behind the United States’ recent formal declaration of the Golan Heights territory as part of Israel. Friedman stated that he believes there is simply no conceptualization of Israel’s northern border that does not include the Golan Heights, saying that the United States will continue to support Israel in its lawful right to establish a safe and secure border.

Claiming it was the right decision at the right time, Friedman acknowledged that the region, which is strategically important, under no conceivable circumstances would now or ever be returned to Syrian President Bashar Assad. Ambassador Friedman tells Pastor Chris that, “The Golan Heights needs to be a part of Israel forever.”

Israel is the Lynch-pin to America’s Vision in the Middle East

When asked by Pastor Chris about America’s vision for the Middle East region, Ambassador Friedman replied that the United States hopes to “see much of the region join the 21st century, develop better practices with regard to human rights, (develop) more open, transparent economies, and promote nonaggression from one country to the next.”

He continued, saying that Israel, being the only democracy in the region, is the ‘lynch-pin’ to that vision. He praised Israel, calling it the model for other countries to aspire to. Ultimately, Friedman says that the United States’ vision for the region reflects democratic nations living in peace.

Concluding their discussion, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome encourages Ambassador Friedman, relying on his own experience in Israel, to share with the world something about the country. Friedman tells Pastor Chris that they could sit talking about Israel for hours, but that it doesn’t compare to experiencing the country firsthand. He encourages people who want to understand Israel to come to the country, see its beauty and the miracle of it. He extols the power of walking the lands of the Bible, where Jesus walked. He calls a visit to Israel a transformational experience.

IKEA Ex-Employee Sues Company For Firing Over Quoting Bible Verses On Homosexuality

0

The popular Sweden-based furniture retailer IKEA is being sued after it fired an employee in Poland for posting Bible verses to voice his objection to the company’s promotion of “LGBT rights.”

The former employee, identified only as Tomasz K., told state broadcaster TVP Info that he was let go from the store in Krakow after he declined to delete a comment he posted on the company’s intranet.

The comment in question was critical of an event the company hosted in May to show solidarity with the LGBT community.

“I was shaken up, I’ve been hired to sell furniture but I’m a Catholic and these aren’t my values,” Tomasz explained.

In a statement, the company said it published an article on May 16, the international day against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia, presenting IKEA’s “values and position” on the LGBT issues.

The statement added that the employee published a comment under the article voicing “his opinion in a way that could affect the rights and dignity of LGBT + persons.”

According to the Catholic News Agency, Tomasz posted two verses from Scripture in his objection to the company promoting homosexuality.

One verse was Matthew 18:6, which reads: “Woe to him through whom scandals come, it would be better for him to tie a millstone around his neck and plunge him in the depths of the sea.”

The other verse, Leviticus 20:13, reads: “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.”

The company further noted in its statement that many fellow employees contacted IKEA human resources about Tomasz’s post.

“The employee actually used quotes from the Old Testament about death and blood in the context of what fate should meet homosexuals,” the statement reads. “Many employees concerned by this entry contacted our HR department.”

IKEA stressed that there is “no room” in the workplace for “violating the dignity of other employees.”

“We oppose and react when there is a risk of violating the goods or personal dignity of each employee. In our opinion, this was the case, which is why we decided to terminate the contract with the employee,” the statement continued. “I emphasize that views were not a problem, but a way of expressing opinions that excludes other people.”

Tomasz and his attorneys believe that his right to express his beliefs was violated.

He told the Polish state broadcaster that he was asked to remove the offending post but said that he “cannot censor God.”

As Sure As The Dawn

0

In this final installment of the Mark of the Lion series, Atretes, the Germanic warrior, returns to play a central role in the story.

Hadassah is confined to the cells below the arena and is facing death once again. Marcus, shattered by the loss of Hadassah, goes in search of God, while his sister Julia lies dying of a strange new illness, longing for a forgiveness beyond her reach.

Meanwhile, Atretes vows to move heaven and earth to find his son—the baby he thought was dead, and whose life Hadassah has saved—and take him back to Germania. Only one thing stands in his way: Rizpah, a Christian widow who has cared for the baby since his birth.

Atretes has not counted on Rizpah’s fiery resistance to having “her son” taken away, nor is he prepared for the woman’s strength and beauty.

From their first meeting, the two are caught in a stormy battle of wills.

Marcus and Julia and, finally, Atretes, come to realize that God’s love can heal all scars and bring forth a new dawn.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome And Us Ambassador To Israel David Friedman Exclusive Interview – Pt

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was recently granted an exclusive interview with President Trump’s appointed United States Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman. Pastor Chris is the world-renowned pastor of Christ Embassy, who founded and leads LoveWorld Incorporated, a global Christian organization headquartered in Nigeria.

Ambassador Friedman was instated as the United States Ambassador to Israel in 2017. Under his leadership of the diplomatic mission, the US has taken impressive steps in their relations with Israel including the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the relocation of the US embassy to the city and, most recently, the recognition of Israel’s territorial sovereignty over the Golan Heights region.

During the interview, the two respected men discussed US-Israeli relations under the Trump administration, America’s vision for the region and the resilience that Israel has demonstrated in the face of great risks to its national security.

No Backlash Following Recognition of Jerusalem and US Embassy Relocation

Opening the discussion, Pastor Chris questions Ambassador Friedman about his impressions to the reactions and backlash experienced in the last year since the US announced it would be moving its diplomatic mission to the officially recognized capital of Jerusalem. Friedman reflected on the successful year, citing the peaceful and tranquil transition of the embassy move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. He asserted that there has been surprising no backlash to the official declaration, from the opening ceremony of the embassy to today.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, who was a special guest at the opening ceremony of the new US embassy, inquires as to whether other countries have chosen to follow the United States’ lead in their official recognition of the Israeli capital. Ambassador Friedman concedes that other countries are not moving their embassies as the fast pace that the United States would like, but that he believes that they are ‘moving in that direction.’ As of now, Guatemala is the only country that has recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and moved its embassy. Friedman notes that other countries, such as the Czech Republic, have opened diplomatic facilities in the city or have actively discussed doing so.

Regarding the recognition of Jerusalem, the United States has seen a mix of reactions in Europe. According to Friedman, while France and Germany have been vocal in their opposition to the diplomatic move by the United States, other countries have expressed serious considerations in their intentions to follow suit. He remains optimistic that there would be movement in the diplomatic community regarding the issue.

Ambassador Friedman affirmed the United States recognition of Jerusalem, calling it both the diplomatically and historically correct move. He expressed to Pastor Chris that the move does not in any way denigrate from the desire of the US to see peace in the region or to see the Palestinians live in dignity, with autonomy.

‘Israel is a Miraculous Country’

Throughout the interview, the discussion focused on the security challenges facing Israel. Ambassador Friedman praised Israel for its resilience and fortitude under adversity. He called Israel a ‘miraculous’ country, saying he was very impressed with the people of Israel. Considering the security risks that it faces – the enemies at its border and terrorists threatening its existence – Israel has not only survived against the odds, it has excelled in developing a world-class economy and has become a leader in high technology.

Over 30,000 Salvations In Week 1 Of Our Pre-Crusade Outreach

As part of our ‘Decade of Double Harvest’ initiative, we have been hard at work increasing our efforts in order to see 150 Million souls saved within the next decade. In fact, just last year when I announced the use of our Gospel Trucks for pre-crusade village outreach, I stated that ‘I believe the days are soon coming where we will see as many or more people saved BEFORE the crusade than during it’… and I believe those days have come!

In preparation for our next African Gospel Crusade on August 8-11 in Nakuru, Kenya, we already have a team of evangelists on the ground paving the way for Kenya to be shaken by the Gospel!

This team of just four evangelists have each been personally trained by myself and played a role in our pre-crusade outreaches in the past.

Now, to impact Kenya’s high population of young people, we have set our sights on ministering in the schools, meeting them where they congregate together each day.

This past week our pre-crusade outreach team has preached the gospel in 51 schools (mostly public) and have seen over 33,000 decisions to follow Jesus! I believe what is happening right now is unprecedented and will lead to the salvation of entire families…and this is just the beginning!

Thank you for partnering with us both prayerfully and financially to reach these precious young people of Kenya. Please continue to pray as there is still another month left of outreach leading up to the main crusade in August.

The best is yet to come, In Jesus’ name!

Conservative Groups Ask Pope Francis Not To Change English Wording Of The Lord’s Prayer

0

A pair of conservative groups have launched a petition asking Pope Francis to keep the current English wording of the Lord’s Prayer, as the Italian version of the prayer was recently altered.

The Ruth Institute and LifeSiteNews created the online petition on Monday, which got thousands of signatories within 20 hours of being posted.

At issue is the possibility that the prayer’s statement “lead us not into temptation” might be changed to “do not abandon us to temptation.”

“We’ve learned the words of our prayers from our mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, our priests, nuns, and brothers,” reads the petition, addressed to the pontiff.

“Please don’t break this precious connection with these cherished people, with our tradition and our past. Please don’t replace these beloved words.”

LifeSiteNews quoted biblical scholar Fr. Reto Nay in defense of their argument that the Lord’s Prayer does not need to be changed.

“The text of the ‘Our Father’ is passed down to us in the New Testament, which was written in ancient Greek. The phrase ‘and lead us not into temptation’ is contained both in Matthew 6:13 and Luke 11:4 with identical wording,” said Nay. “This means that the wording of the prayer cannot be blamed on a transmission error or misunderstanding.”

Ruth Institute President Jennifer Roback Morse said in a statement released on Monday that this petition was a deviation from her organization’s usual focus on political and social issues.

“This petition is important because faith is the foundation of our lives. It permeates everything, including the Ruth Institute’s work for the family,” said Morse.

“We wish to convey to him that the faithful of the English-speaking world are attached to the words of the Lord’s Prayer. The proposed change will create unnecessary confusion and division in an already confused and divided church.”

On May 22, the Vatican officially enacted a change to the Italian version of the Lord’s Prayer, also commonly known as the “Our Father.”

Swimming In Glory 7; Born To Be Great.

Greatness opens doors. It opens certain doors that are normally closed to those not considered great. Greatness opens certain doors that are closed to ordinary people.

Ephesians 2:13

1 Corinthians 15:6

Luke 10:1

Mark 3:13-15

By the power that is in the blood of Jesus Christ, you are invited to come and dine with the King of kings Himself.

Hebrews 10:19

When the Lord asks you to come to His table, He’s asking you to come to the table prepared by Him.

You are asked to eat the meal God provided Himself.

There are people who are invited, who are not worthy, people who have not been washed by the blood of the Lamb.

You eat the Holy Communion worthily; it will heal and empower you. If you eat it unworthily, you can fall sick or even die.

Prayer points:

– As you eat the bread, thank the Almighty God for the body that was broken for you. Reach out for your healing tonight.

– As you drink the wine tonight, your prayer point will be “Father, grant me access to greatness tonight.”

You Can Be Transported From Point ‘A’ To Point ‘B’ By God’s Spirit

“It was a faith that kept Enoch from dying. Instead, he was taken up to God, and nobody could find him, because God had taken him up. The scripture says that before Enoch was taken up, he had pleased God.” Hebrews 11:5 GNB

Craig listened with skepticism as the preacher told this amazing story about a man in the Bible called Enoch, who didn’t die but was taken right into heaven. How could that be true and why? Is it possible for someone to leave this world without dying?” Craig mused these thoughts long after the message.

Maybe, like Craig, you’ve also wondered about Enoch and even questioned his story. Well, it’s a true story recorded in Genesis 5:21-24. The Amplified Classic Bible version says, “…Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; and he was not, for God took him [home with Him]” (Genesis 5:24 AMPC). Observe the word “fellowship.” It’s the same word Paul uses in his prayer for the Church in 2 Corinthians 13:14 (NIV): “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” It refers, amongst other things, to the transportation of the Holy Spirit.

This transportation is such that happens during times of deep worship and meditation when you feel taken up away from this earth-realm into the realms of glory in God’s Spirit. There, your eyes are opened to see the realities of God’s Kingdom, where there are no impossibilities or limitations. You gain the advantage as you see, with the eyes of your spirit, things that are not visible to others.

Through an intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you can walk consistently in this realm where you’re translated from one level of glory to another, and never experience death (and all it represents—sickness, defeat, destruction, failure, stagnation, retrogression, etc.) in your life.

Speak 🗣
I walk closely with the Spirit of God and I’m constantly transported by Him into the glorious and higher realms of life, far removed from death, defeat, destruction, sickness, poverty, and failure. My eyes are open to the realities of God’s Kingdom; I see the invisible and I’m empowered to do the impossible. Hallelujah!
