Prophet Paul Cain, One Of God’s Generals Dies At 89

0

When one considers ‘God’s Generals’ of the last century, names like William Branham, John G Lake, Maria Woodworth-Etter, and Jack Coe come to mind.

Paul Cain, who served Branham as a young man is said to be in the same league.

He inspired countless numbers of people during his 76 years of ministry and according to a statement from Dan Reise and Jon Cressey of Paul Cain Ministries.

He passed away on Wednesday February 13th 2019 at the age of 89. He would have been 90 in June.

“As a prophet, he was convinced that God is about to do something unprecedented, that a wonderful and powerful revival is coming that would touch the nations.

Cain was born June 16, 1929. Cain’s mother should have died in the birth but reportedly had an angelic visitation that miraculously healed her.

Cain launched his ministry at age 18 during the Pentecostal healing revival of the 1940s and 1950s. But he vanished from the scene for more than 25 years, then re-emerged in the late 1980s when Bickle promoted Cain’s ministry at his Metro Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Kansas City, Missouri, Charisma previously reported.

By the 1950s, Cain traveled internationally and drew as many as 30,000 at tent meetings in Switzerland and Germany.

“So happy for Paul Cain to enter into glory. I remember how excited I was when I first met him because he represented the miraculous friendship with God to me,” prophetic voice Shawn Bolz tells Charisma News. “

Watching him minister was just wild! I don’t know if I would even have a prophetic ministry if it wasn’t for his anointing. I probably would have lived a more normal life. Then becoming his friend was also filled with amazing stories that he was never able to tell because they were with people of such high influence.

Queens, political outlaws, presidents, movie stars, stopping wars, exposing terrorist threats, giving crime details to the FBI—there was no end of fantastical stories of how Paul’s gift in the prophetic caused the world to change.”

Of Cain’s passing, Rick Joyner said: “I’ve been blessed to know some of the most interesting and high impact people in our time, and in some ways Paul Cain was one of the most remarkable of all. With Paul I witnessed some of the most extraordinary miracles and acts of God, and learned much about the glory and majesty of God.

I also learned how having great power and spiritual gifting can make us even more vulnerable to the pride that will cause us to fall. Even with the challenges we experienced with Paul, I am so thankful to have been able to know him, and have him as such a part of our life as he was, and I think we may not fully understand until the age to come, but he helped to prepare for some of the great moves of God that are now unfolding.”

Using The Internet For God’s Glory In The Arab World

0

A man from the Middle East was playing a game on his cell phone when an ad popped up with the question, “Has God forgotten us?”

A woman in North Africa was scrolling through Facebook when she discovered a post with thoughts she hadn’t been able to articulate before: “In the midst of so much evil, is there any hope?”

Men and women such as these represent millions of Arabic speakers who now have greater access to the Gospel through SalamMaaAllah.net. The website is an Arabic version of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s (BGEA) internet evangelism site, PeaceWithGod.net.

“I think we’re in a season of white harvest among Arabic speakers right now,” said Jill*, BGEA’s internet evangelism Arabic language manager. “We’re seeing more Muslims coming to Christ in the last few years than we’ve ever seen in history.”

An Online Source of Hope

BGEA’s internet evangelism ministry, Search for Jesus, launched in 2011 to serve the increasing number of people turning to the Internet for answers about life, relationships and faith. Through websites in various languages, the ministry’s online coaches personally connect with users worldwide by helping them realize their need for God.

After its initial launch, the ministry grew to include fully developed websites in English, Spanish and Portuguese—leading to more than 12 million people indicating decisions for Christ. As the team celebrated God’s work through internet evangelism, they also noticed an increase in Arabic speakers coming to PeaceWithGod.net for answers. This site clearly presents the Good News of Jesus.

“Many tribes and nations started to contact us in different languages, but one group was higher than the others,” Jill explained. “That was the Arabic group.”

The English version of PeaceWithGod.net receives about 700,000 visitors a month—and about 15% of those visitors are accessing the site from Arabic-speaking countries. After months of prayerful research, BGEA launched an Arabic version of PeaceWithGod.net in December 2017.

Nearly 90,000 people have visited SalamMaaAllah.net since its launch. The ministry’s Facebook page has upwards of 140,000 followers, and more than 70 Arabic speakers have indicated decisions for Christ.

“The Arabic ministry has already been very successful,” said Internet Evangelism Director Mark Appleton. “These are not people who just clicked a button. In conversations with real people online, they learned about the Gospel and made a decision to follow Christ.”

What’s unique to SalamMaaAllah.net is its primary use of social media to connect with Arabic speakers. After research revealed the popularity of Facebook among Arabic speakers, the internet evangelism team developed a Facebook page and released video advertisements specific to Arabs—encouraging people to ask our online coaches spiritual questions through Facebook Messenger.

By targeting topics relevant to the Middle East and North Africa, the SalamMaaAllah.net team—which recently expanded to include six volunteers—is having about 140 conversations a week with Arabic speakers through the social media platform.

“Muslim young professionals are not as antagonistic to faith conversations because they’ve seen so many challenges around them,” Appleton explained. “They see their parents experience continued conflict and war and are much more open than previous generations.”

Finding Answers to Life’s Most Important Questions

One such young man is Ali*, a Muslim from Iraq who discovered SalamMaaAllah.net and asked, “How do I know what is the right path—Islam, Christianity or Judaism?”

An Arabic online coach from BGEA replied and explained the good news of God’s love, mercy, justice and sacrifice.

Ali responded with the Arabic expression, “Your answer hits me,” which means, “What you say makes a lot of sense.”

After continued conversation with the online coach, Ali asked how he could become a follower of Christ and prayed to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Another young man, 20-year-old Maher* from Iraq, responded with similar enthusiasm after an online coach explained the Gospel.

“I believe!” he wrote. “It really makes sense. Your words. Because God loves us, he brings us to the well of safety—to a safe place. I’ll always believe.”

Arabic speakers such as Ali and Maher—who have made decisions for Christ through SalamMaaAllah.net—continue to message our team with prayer requests and to discuss passages of Scripture.

The internet evangelism team gives God glory for all He has done through SalamMaaAllah.net. With resources available in the top five online languages, BGEA has the potential to share the Gospel with 60 percent of online users and more than one-third of the world’s total population.

“Billy Graham used everything at his disposal for the clear explanation of the Gospel,” the Arabic language manager said, explaining how BGEA has continued that legacy through its internet evangelism ministry.

“God is literally using the Internet for His glory.”

*Editor’s note: For security reasons, some names are changed in this article. Join us in praying for those who come to Christ in areas where they may face persecution because of their faith, and for staff and volunteers who continue to share the Gospel no matter the risk.

Three Months After California’s Camp Fire: Residents Find The Peace Of Christ

0

On November 8, 2018, a fire broke out in Butte County, California, and quickly spread, completely devastating the town of Paradise and neighboring areas. After burning more than 153,000 acres, nearly 14,000 homes and 500-plus commercial buildings, and causing 87 deaths, it became known as the most destructive and deadliest wildfire in the state’s history.

“What have I got to be happy about? … This is not Paradise. … I just escaped hell.”

These words penetrated the hearts of Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (RRT)chaplains, who sat listening to Camp Fire survivors’ stories in the weeks after the blaze. The team deployed to Butte County just days after the fire started and remain there three months later.

Now stationed at a church in the heart of the devastation in Paradise, chaplains spend their days going with residents to the sites where their homes once stood. Many of them barely escaped the encircling flames by car or on foot. For some, it’s their first time returning to see what’s left. With mounds of twisted metal and ashes across the town—it’s surprising—but such a blessing when something is found.

“When we meet them, they’ll have certain things they’d like to find … precious rings, maybe a teapot,” Chaplain Coordinator James Kilgore said. “They’ll know right where it is in the house and be ready to sift. It brings a smile to their face when they find those precious things they’re looking for.”

With the help of Samaritan’s Purse, chaplains have been coming alongside residents, looking through the remains of what once was to see if anything still is.

“What we’re trying to do is help them find peace—the true peace of Jesus Christ,” Kilgore said.

They’ve witnessed 107 people find that peace over the past few months, and have been able to pray with more than 6,000 others. “We want to give people hope that had no hope and a smile when they didn’t have a smile because of the love of God,” Kilgore said.

This hope is the same message that Billy Graham shared for decades, and Kilgore has encountered several people in Paradise still affected by the evangelist’s ministry.

Among them was a 90-year-old pastor and his wife who watched their neighbors die in the fire. Their own home, with a library full of books, also burned. “One of [the pastor’s] most prized possessions was a Bible signed by Billy Graham,” Kilgore said. “It broke my heart.”

The coordinator also came across a firefighter and asked how he was holding up. The serviceman replied he was doing well and shared that when he was 13 years old, he went to a Billy Graham Crusade in Anaheim and dedicated his life to the Lord.

And just earlier this week, a lady rededicated her life to Christ after first surrendering to Him at a California Crusade. She’s one of two dozen people who’ve chosen to rededicate their lives during this deployment.

“You hear these stories everywhere you go,” Kilgore said, intrigued how one man made a difference in so many people’s lives. “In times like this, they still remember what Billy Graham preached, and him saying ‘God loves you.’ His ministry right here in Paradise is still making a tremendous difference.”

Dr. Paul Enenche Addresses Crowd On The Mind Of God Concerning The State Of The Nation

0

Towards the end of the single service at the Glory Dome on Sunday, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche addressed the Crowd on the mind of God as revealed to him concerning the forthcoming elections.

In his words:

“The enemy may have the first say but it is God who has the final say.
The enemy may have the first say but it is God who has the best say.
The silence of God is not consent for the enemy.
The silence of God is not weakness before the enemy.
The silence of God is an incubation for His manifestation. When God seems not to be saying anything He is incubating for manifestation… Watch Him take us all by surprise.

One of the things the resurrection has showed us is that when the Devil has done his worst, then the stage is set for God to do His best. That was what happened when Jesus was crucified. God told the Devil “have you finished? Give chance”.

Afterwards, he led the congregation in Prayers committing Nigeria to The Lord; asking that The Lord has His way and manifests Himself in the Nation. He concluded by admonishing the Crowd to be spiritually sensitive and led by their convictions; and then by making more decrees concerning the preservation for the Nation.

“In The Season We Are In, Please Maintain Spiritual Sensitivity. Do The Will Of God In The Fear Of God. Don’t Follow The Multitude To Do Evil. Be A Person Of Conviction, Not A Person Who Flows With The Consensus. There Shall Be No War In Nigeria. No Bloodshed.

Anybody Thirsty For Blood In This Nation Will Drink Their Own Blood.

No Matter How Hard Anybody Tries, The Wrong Person Shall Never Ascend The Throne In Nigeria At All Levels. If From The Time Of Our Independence Till Now, Wrong People Have Ascended The Throne In Nigeria At One Point Or The Other, Never Again In The Name Of Jesus.

No One Shall Be A Victim Of Crossfire. No One Shall Be A Victim Of Needless Death In The Name Of Jesus!

The people left to their respective destinations full of hope faith and trust in God concerning the future of Nigeria, and by extension, their own safety and security.

Aussies Pack Perth Venue To Hear God’s Word

0

“The Gospel always works.”

Just hours away from the start of his tour across Australia, Franklin Graham had his sight set on one thing: preaching God’s Word without compromise.

Sixty years ago this month, his father stayed true to that same mission as he held Crusades covering Australia and New Zealand. Billy Graham had no idea that simple Gospel message would touch millions.

Now, with a six-city Graham Tour across Australia, Franklin Graham is determined to show the power of God’s Word to change lives in the Land Down Under, yet again.

A lot has changed in Australia since 1959, though. More and more people are turning away from the church and viewing religion as a less relevant part of day-to-day living. That’s led some Christians to compromise.

“[The enemy] wants pastors and churches to believe preaching the Gospel and giving an invitation are old fashioned,” Franklin Graham told the Graham Tour team Saturday morning. “But God still uses preaching.

“He still uses the preaching of the Gospel and inviting people to respond to the message of the Gospel.”

Saturday night in Perth, Western Australia, that was evident.

More than 13,000 people filled the RAC Arena to hear a message about what Franklin Graham called “the most important thing in your life: your relationship with God.”

Preaching the story of how blind Bartimaeus cried out to Jesus to be healed, he said, “My prayer tonight is that you would choose Jesus Christ.”

“I didn’t want us to assemble together without prayer,” Franklin Graham told the Graham Tour team after calling an impromptu devotional time on the morning of the Perth event.

Doubts Debunked

Perth marked the first stop of the Graham Tour spanning 16 days across Australia. Planetshakers and Crowder are tagging along to perform during most of the tour.

Although Saturday’s kickoff event wasn’t youth-focused, hundreds of young people poured to the front of the stage to join both groups in worship.

Jo, a prayer volunteer from Perth, was inspired after praying with three teenage girls, all the same age as her daughter.

Coming into the event, she admitted she had her doubts. How would it be perceived? Would churches really unite? Could the message make a difference?

Jo’s questions were quickly put to rest.

“I looked around and wept the whole time,” she said.

“To anyone who says there is no revival here [in Australia], you are wrong. The spirit of unity shown here … the worship we saw tonight—I was reminded we are not alone.”

Prayer volunteers David, Edgar and Luna had a similar reaction as God exceeded their expectations.

David and Edgar are brothers. Edgar and Luna are engaged. And together they decided to serve during the tour after hearing about the event through their church.

“Tonight really opened my eyes to a bigger picture,” David said. “People respond to messages like this.”

“[God showed what] He can do from the younger generation to the older generation,” Luna added.

A Graham Tour volunteer prays with two Aboriginal women who walked forward to make a decision for Christ.

‘This Is Beautiful’

The crowd was truly a sight to see, with people spanning the width of the RAC Arena floor.

On one end, a group from Australia’s often-forgotten Aboriginal community prayed together.

Nearby, an elderly woman prayed for a woman in a back brace as if her life depended on it.

Zipping by them—a man wearing a shirt with the words “Leave None Behind.” He walked hand in hand with a little boy to introduce him to a volunteer trained to share Jesus in a way he’d understand.

Witnessing it all, one attendee stopped in her tracks. “This is beautiful.”

“You can leave this arena forgiven,” Franklin Graham told the crowd—and hundreds left knowing that reality.

Thinking back to those three friends who tearfully made decisions for Christ, Jo realized the impact this event could have.

“They now have the rest of their lives to live for Him,” she said.

“That’s all it takes is that one simple message.”

Please continue to pray for the Graham Tour which heads to the city of Darwin next. That event will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 p.m. Australia time. Stay tuned to BillyGraham.org for more stories and to watch the event live.
