2018 Holy Ghost Congress With Pastor E. A. Adeboye

0

The 2018 edition of the Holy Ghost Congress with Pastor E. A. Adeboye took place from the 3rd to the 8th of December at The Redemption Camp and  the RCCG New Auditorium, Shimawa.

The glory has been given to us; it is for us to go in and manifest. – Ephesians 1:3

Glory Ahead goes beyond the theme of a program. It is an impartation of hope unto the hopeless.

Reasons You Must Give Thanks

1. Glory ahead far outweighs the troubles that besiege us. 2 Corinthians 4:17

It is such that the intimidation of giants is no longer a threat as we’ve been assured of victory.

2. It affirms that the suffering you are enduring is worth it, for the glory is ahead. Hebrews 12:2

When there is a price to be won, the price paid will be worth it.

3. The glory ahead makes the adventures worth it.

Elisha could see the glory of becoming Elijah’s spiritual heir ahead. 2 Kings 7:1-9

4. The glory ahead makes the wilderness journey a sweet experience. Deuteronomy 8:1-9

5. The glory ahead is an announcement that the old season and the new one is about to begin. Genesis 8:22

What You Must Do to Enter the Glory Ahead

1. You must open your eyes to see what God has for you.

2. You must open your heart to enter what He has for you.

3. You must open your mind to recieve from God.

4. You must open your hand to sow any seed required.

However, Glory Ahead is only for those who are on the Lord’s side. Hosea 7:1

Let somebody shout Hallelujah!
God has done it again!
He has taken away our reproach and turned it to joy.
After 34 years of waiting, God granted our mummy the fruit of the womb at 60 years of age.
Only God can do these great and mighty things.
May His Name be highly exalted.

Very soon your song will be;
Now that the battle is over
Now that the battle is over
Now that the battle is over
I am more than conquerors

People Across Southern Thailand Come To Know The Christ Of Christmas

0

Around this time of year, it’s common for little ones across Thailand to practice their English singing songs like “Jingle Bells.” And in tourist areas like Phuket, the holiday spirit is especially noticeable with Christmas trees, decorations and music in hotels and restaurants.

But most know little to nothing about the true meaning of Christmas in this majority-Buddhist nation. Rather than a celebration of Christ’s birth, shiny bulbs and festive music are simply another way to have fun.

That’s why, on the final night of the Celebration of Love in Phuket, Will Graham wanted to take time to explain the Christmas story.

“God sent His Son into the world so He could save it,” Will told the crowd. “That’s what Christmas is all about.”

Thousands shuffled into the soccer field at Prince of Songkla University to hear Will preach throughout the weekend. The Phuket events marked the last phase of the Andaman Celebration of Love, which was also held in two other cities in southern Thailand.

“Have you made room for Jesus?” Will asked those attending Sunday, referring to King Herod’s desire to kill Jesus because he feared his throne was in danger.

“There are some who don’t want another king in their life. … You want to sit on your own throne because you don’t want God to rule your life.

“My friends, you’ll miss Christmas altogether if you do this.”

Involved in the Celebration were hundreds of other passionate Christians from around southern Thailand, eager to share their faith with others.

Sunday night, Yao was able to pray with an entire family that walked forward during the invitation to accept Christ. After personally experiencing what it’s like to know Jesus, she felt she had to get involved in the Celebration and became a prayer volunteer.

Yao also participated in Operation Andrew, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s evangelism tool that helps believers pray for and minister to people they know who don’t know Christ.

Yao’s Operation Andrew prayer list included 12 people; three of them have already come to know Christ.

From here, churches will disciple these new believers and help them connect to a community where they can grow and learn how to live the Christian life.

“My prayer is that this revival will spread,” Off said. “I don’t want it to just stay here, but go everywhere. From this little spot [in southern Thailand] to the big picture.”

And churches in the region understand it will take them doing the work with God’s help.

God is the Doer, Not Me – Bishop Oyedepo At Shiloh 2018

The presiding bishop of Living Faith Church, otherwise known as Winners’ Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has urged worshipers at Faith Tabernacle to ascribe glory to God alone for the blessings in their lives as Shiloh 2018 rounded off.

He noted that no man could save another, saying it was time the people re-direct themselves and see God as the source of their blessings.

Bishop Oyedepo in his sermon during Shiloh thanksgiving service titled: ‘Why Are We Thanking God,’ said God is the source of the testimonies recorded in the lives of members of the church.

The cleric cleared the air on the assumptions of some people who claimed he appeared in their dreams to set them free from their challenges, saying it was God that did the miracles. “I was in my room; it was God that set you free, He only used my face.”

He added that God could use animate and inanimate objects to do His wonders, hence the need for ministers to be humble.

He said: “You are not the doer, let every minister have an understanding of this. We are giving thanks to the source of the blessings in our lives. God can use anybody anytime to carry out his purpose…God gave the utterance, word, and released His virtues and it is the virtue that we draw on that enhances our value.”

On why we must thank God, Bishop Oyedepo said thanksgiving was a debt everybody owed God, and perfect soundness always follow genuine thanksgiving.

“It multiplies God’s blessings in our lives; it preserves His presence.  Engage in tireless thanksgiving and celebration of God at all times.”

He added that thanksgiving was an asset in the life of a believer, as it makes great and mighty things happen in the life of the ‘thanks-giver’.

He ended by admonishing members that to take God for granted was to be grounded.

Church of Pentecost – Daaho Church Building Dedicated

0

The Daaho Assembly church building in the Akyeremade District of the Mampong Area of The Church of Pentecost has been dedicated.

The auditorium was dedicated by Prophet James Osei Amaniampong (Asokwa Area Head), assisted by the Mampong Area Head, Prophet Foster Kwasi Aniakwaa, and the La Area Head, Apostle John Osei Amaniampong.

The building, which was named after the former Finance Board Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, the late Elder Kwabena Dwomoh Amaniampong, was fully funded by the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC)-Graceland in the Teshie-Nungua Area.

The PIWC Graceland, spearheaded by the then Nshorna District Minister, Evangelist Francis Yaw Adu, and the Presiding Elder, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, decided to construct a church building at Daaho, near Ashanti Mampong, the hometown of Prophet James Osei Amaniampong (the then Teshie-Nungua Area Head). The project was in honour of the dedicated services Prophet Amaniampong rendered to the Teshie-Nungua Area.

The Amaniampong family donated four plots of land to commence the construction of the building in December 2016. The chief of the community also facilitated the extension of electricity to the project site.

Speaking at the dedication service, the Chief of Daaho, Nana Adjei Brempong who also doubles as the Dwirahene of Mampong Traditional Council, announced that he will worship with the local assembly. He also indicated that the street leading to the church will be named as ‘Chapel Square Street.’ He tasked the church to win the youth who were going wayward to the Lord.

The Courage To Stand: Many Make Bold Decisions For Christ In Thailand

0

Pastor Young had one primary prayer ahead of the Celebration of Love in Phuket: no rain. Thursday night, it poured as forecasted, soaking the entire field at Prince of Songkla University where Will Graham would preach the Gospel the next day.

Friday called for the same—a 90 percent chance. But God came through as He’s done time and time again throughout planning for the three-day evangelistic event.

Not one drop of rain fell on the rows of plastic chairs—and for a region where rain can show unannounced, some saw it as nothing short of a miracle.

Three years in the making, the Andaman Celebration was much-anticipated across southern Thailand. The event kicked off at 6:30 p.m. (local time), but people trickled in all the way up until Will took the stage.

Some, invited. Others, just curious. But to those who needed to hear God’s Word, that’s exactly what they got.

“Jesus is what you’ve been looking for. Jesus can change your life,” Will told the crowd, assuring them that God cares about every worry and disappointment they might be facing.

Preaching from Matthew 27, Will talked about the importance of having the courage to stand for Christ, unlike Pilate who, in this part of Scripture, took the wrong side when deciding whether Jesus should be crucified.

Thailand is certainly a place where courage is needed to go against the norm and follow Jesus.

Pastor Young, who started a church in Phuket seven years ago at God’s nudging, explained that the mostly-Buddhist nation allows freedom to follow any religion. But most people get wrapped up in idol worship and deep-rooted superstitions that are hard to let go.

For those who decide to accept Christ, it can mean being ostracized.

“You can worship everything except Jesus Christ,” Young explained. “[For most], that’s not OK in the family.”

But for those who walked forward Friday night at the Celebration, the reward far outweighed the risk.

“We know that God is with us,” Young said.

First-Time Decisions Across Generations

Sitting in his wheelchair, Thiti listened intently as a prayer volunteer spoke with him about the Gospel.

A friend insisted he come to the event to see what it was about. Thiti said he’d been invited to Christian events in the past, but never accepted the offers. This time was different.

“I wanted my heart to feel lighter. I wanted to have Jesus in my heart,” he said.

And so he broke the ice, being one of the first to come forward during the invitation to accept Christ.

A few steps away, 4-year-old Grace swayed back and forth in her Elsa dress as a prayer volunteer talked to her mother, Anchara, about the decision they both just made.

Anchara’s son invited her to the Celebration, and Naree, a local volunteer, recognized the familiar face in the crowd. Their sons are friends and Naree was elated to pray with Anchara and Grace in front of the stage. To see even a little one understand what it means to be loved by Jesus, “I can barely find the words,” she said with a smile.

“I feel like we fought the devil and won!”

Naree and Pastor Young are just two of many Christians excited to see what God will do in Thailand, especially among the southern provinces.

With the Celebration of Love with Will Graham underway and Franklin Graham set to visit Bangkok to share the Gospel next month, church leaders are hopeful revival will come.

They’ve made an ambitious goal and are praying and believing for it: to double Thailand’s Christian population from 1 percent to 2 percent.

Pastor Young said he’s already noticed growth in his own church. Tonight’s new believers are added to the number.

“God will finish what He starts.”

Sakumono PIWC Embarks On Evangelism Outreach At Dambai Lakeside District

0

The Evangelism Ministry of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC)-Sakumono, popularly referred to as “Life Seekers,” has embarked on a four-day evangelistic outreach at the Dambai Lakeside District in the Volta Region.

The outreach which took place from Wednesday, November 28, to Sunday, December 2, 2018, was preceded by a 21-day fasting and prayer.

The leader of the team, Brother Nana Obrempong Owusu, said the outreach was part of the mandate given by the Lord Jesus Christ to Christians to reach out with the gospel to lost souls and to heal the sick.

The outreach saw the power of God at work in the various communities the team preached the gospel through rallies, house-to-house evangelism and dawn broadcast. Many were healed and liberated from the bondage of the devil, while others were baptised in the Holy Spirit and imparted with spiritual gifts. Living testimonies were shared from the members about how the power of God has liberated them from various diseases. A total of 70 souls were won, out of which 55 received water baptism.

There was a free medical screening and counselling for the residents of Kpachie, Ayeremu, Kotokujani and Kelentin communities. The beneficiary communities lack access to health care facilities, hence they were so grateful to the team for the free medical screening.

The team also distributed clothing, shoes, toiletries, and Bibles to the residents. Stationeries were also given to school children, while about 600 children aged two years and above were administered with dewormers.

The team leader was grateful to the Teshie-Nungua Area Head, Apostle Dr. Alfred Koduah, for his support to the ministry. He was also full of appreciation to their Resident Minister, Pastor Anthony Owusu Sekyere Kwarteng, and the entire church for their varied support in making the outreach a success.

Unveiling The Dominion Power Of Faith – Bishop David Oyedepo

There are prophets of God on the earth today. Some may be in hiding but some are in the open speaking. Ahab and Jezebel had their prophets that they paid to prophesy for them. Prophets of God are anointed agents of heavenly dominion.

May Every child of God in politics be anointed as a Daniel for their generation, not ‘closed mouth ‘jeun jeun’ (eat eat) politics. If you can’t stand for God, get out of the place. They talk about the Church and you keep mute? What kind of seat are you seating on? Daniel 7:27

Faith establishes a spiritual partnership of the believer with God. Romans 11:18-20

Faith establishes your partnership with God thereby empowering you for dominion.

I held the first prayer and fasting for this nation in 1979. All the people talking, where were they that time? God sent me to liberate this nation from this siege of satanic manipulation.

WHAT IS IN FAITH THAT EMPOWERS THE BELIEVER FOR DOMINION?

1. Faith taps into the power of God at will. – Isaiah 64:1

2. Faith secures divine intervention at will. – 1 John 5:4, Deuteronomy 22:4, 1 Corinthians 16:9

Every time Faith comes alive, God steps in to the issues. There are giants in everybody’s Canaanland. This place called Canaanland was called ‘Igbo Irumole’ (Forest of Witches). We once discovered a dead animal here with a human face.

3. Faith commits God’s integrity to confirm His Word. – 2 Timothy 2:13

They made noise about removing Church leaders. Were you there when I received the 18 hour vision?

They said when you take offering you should take to government. We built Goshen, they haven’t done anything in Abuja. We should now carry Goshen money and go and give them? Not as I live, not even when I have left.

Prophets reproduce themselves.
Every true son is an improvement of his father.
Darkness does not torment light.
