The Shift (Recognize The Shift)

0

When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is this not the carpenter’s son? […] – Matthew 13:53-54

This encounter was followed by one of Jesus’ most popular quotes; “A prophet is not respected in his own home.”

There is a certain trait in humans that makes us struggle to reconcile a past life with a new one. As a matter of fact, people who knew you when you were unsaved, poor, etc, would attempt to explain how you made it, albeit ignoring the primary reason – divine intervention. This happened to Jesus.

Despite travelling many miles, preaching the Gospel and performing mighty miracles, his own clan could not recognise that he was operating in a supernatural anointing. Their focus was on his background and upbringing.

Saul was victim to this as well. He could not accept that David, the young armour bearer he took in, had now received divine mandate and anointing to become the next king of Israel. He constantly fought against the will of God by pursuing his life until his last breath.

Many people miss out on divine helpers that God sends their way because they fail to see past their prejudices; they fail to recognise the shift! That the person they knew is no longer the same. That the hand of God has shifted the person from one level to another.

Your next miracle may come through your maid at home, the tabletop seller on the street, an intern at your workplace. I pray; in the name of Jesus, may your eyes be open to recognize when the shift happens!

UK Tour: BGEA Mounts Legal Challenge To Venue Cancellations

0

With Franklin Graham’s U.K. Tour just three months away, the evangelistic outreach is being actively opposed by groups who disagree with Graham’s Bible-based beliefs. The one-day tour stops will feature live music and a message of hope, but in recent weeks, all eight venues scheduled to host these events have said they’re cancelling their contracts.

“The Gospel … always faces opposition,” Franklin Graham said recently. “This is spiritual warfare, and we’re not going to back down. … God hasn’t called us to sit back and be quiet. He has called us to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ.”

The tour is set to begin in Glasgow, Scotland, this May. A Scottish court recently expedited a case involving the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), the Glasgow City Council and Scottish Event Campus Limited.

Below is a statement from BGEA regarding two other tour stops:

In addition to the legal proceedings in Glasgow, BGEA has now filed claims against parties in Sheffield and Wales that it believes were responsible for cancelling its legally binding contracts.

The case in Sheffield involves FlyDSA Arena, Sheffield City Council and Sheffield City Trust. The case in Wales involves ICC Wales and the Welsh government.

BGEA’s position remains that in nearly 70 years of public evangelistic outreach ministry, there is no evidence whatsoever that any BGEA event involving Franklin Graham has ever caused a danger to public safety or incited public disorder. The actions taken by these venues and those responsible for them to publicly repudiate these contracts are clear efforts to distance the decision-makers from BGEA, Franklin Graham and other Christians who hold similar beliefs. There is no question that this was done under pressure from those with opposing views who have demonstrated a relatively predictable pattern of harassment and bullying of those doing business with BGEA.

This disregard for principles of good faith and fair dealing, based on the mere suggestion that a person’s sincerely held religious views or statements are “hateful” or would result in public disorder, should be very alarming to anyone who is genuinely concerned about diversity, inclusion and tolerance, let alone free speech and the free exercise of religious beliefs.

All my daughters will be virgins when they marry!

My ministry shall continue in beauty and excellence!

Indulging The Flesh?

0

Food and relaxation are good, but if excessive, can be dangerous. If fasting for even one day has become difficult for you, then your flesh is exerting too much control over you. Even in marriage, if you cannot go one week without being intimate with your spouse, then you really need to get yourself under control.

Humans are actually spirit beings; the flesh is just a container that helps us operate in the physical world. Many however have given the container priority over its content – the spirit. The spirit is supposed to be in control of the flesh and not the other way round. What happens mostly however is that, a fellow will look fresh and healthy in the physical, but spiritually, he is weak and dying. The purpose of your flesh is to keep you alive, not to kill you. If you let it dictate to you, it will end up killing you. In 1 Corinthians 9:27, Apostle Paul urges us to subdue our flesh.

When I first became born again and was introduced to fasting, I thought “These people want to kill me!” But I eventually tried it and found it most rewarding. When you decide to start putting your body under control through fasting, it will be difficult at first, in fact, it may feel like you are trying to kill yourself. that is just the flesh battling for the position of authority that it has always enjoy. At that time when it seems really difficult, energize your spirit in prayers. You will discover that during the prayers, your flesh will be suppressed and its voice will be silenced.

I leave you with the words of Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 6:12-13:

“12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.”

Until you are born again, God ever abiding presence will never be with you. You must be born again to enjoy continuous victory. Please say the displayed prayer below in faith:

Lord Jesus, come into my life. I accept You as my Lord and Personal Saviour. I believe in my heart You died and rose from the dead to save me. Thank You Lord for saving me, in Jesus name Amen.

How To Have A Good Relationship

0

Every crisis between spouse is as a result of lack of wisdom.
Your greatest investment in life is your mind; as children of God, we must learn to develop our minds.
You must invest your time and energy to make your relationship work – Matthew 18:18-19.

HOW TO HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP:
1. Realize you have an invisible enemy, the devil.
Every tragedy in any home begins with a conversation – Genesis 3:2, Luke 4:3.
As married couples, you must be prayerful in order to avert evils.

2. Watch what you see and hear
What you see affect you either negatively or positively.
What you see and hear can make or mar your relationships.
Always renew your mind with the Word of God.

3. Walk in love
Forgiveness is a proof of love; always let go of the past.
Never discuss your spouse negatively with a third party.
Always learn to control your anger; you can overcome anger with the Word of God.

Understanding The Seed Of The Woman

0

Natural Seed and Spiritual Seed

Every woman will produce two types of seed or fruit. The “natural seed” and “the spiritual seed”. The “natural seed” of the woman speaks of the natural children that she brings forth. The “spiritual seed” speaks of the spiritual fruit and spiritual impact of a woman’s life and ministry. Every woman can have some spiritual fruit.

Since the enemy knows that the seed of the woman is what will bruise the head of the serpent, he attacks that seed all the time.

Satan Attacks the Natural Seed

The seed of the woman is a special target of Satan. The enemy does not want the woman to bring forth a child. This explains why childbearing is fraught with so many problems.

Satan wants to prevent that son or daughter from coming forth from your loins. A close look at the Bible will show you that many great men were born to women who were initially barren.

Sarah, the mother of Isaac was initially barren.

And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

Genesis 16:2

Rachel who is seen as the mother of Israel, was initially barren.

And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

Genesis 30:1

The mother of Samson was also initially barren.

And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not.

Judges 13:2

Samuel’s mother is another example of someone whose seed was under attack.

…but Hannah had no children.

1 Samuel 1:2

Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, is a New Testament example of someone whose seed was blocked for many years.

And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.

Luke 1:7

Woman with direction, somebody great will come out from your womb. That is why the enemy will try to hinder you from marrying or having children. If you believe in this part of the Scripture, then you will understand why demons are particularly interested in harassing women.

Satan Also Attacks the Spiritual Seed

Women are prophetically destined to make a significant spiritual impact. I have observed that the role of spiritual women has increased. More and more women are making a difference in lay ministry and full-time ministry. You cannot rule them out. Their seed is significantly impacting the work of ministry.

Women are preaching, singing, teaching and having visions. This is a role that God has carved out for all who care for spiritual things.

The Three Marys

When Mary, the sister of Martha, was seated at Jesus’ feet listening to his words, he declared that she was doing the one thing needful (Luke 10:42)!

When Mary Magdalene saw the risen Christ even before the apostles, the whole church received an important message. Women are treasured by the Lord! Women are loved by the Lord! Women are special to the Saviour!

When Mary, the mother of Jesus, received her salutation from the angel, she received perhaps the most treasured words ever spoken to a woman. For the angel declared, “Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women for thou hast found favour with God (Luke 1:28).”

These three Marys left an indelible spiritual mark that has lasted forever. That is why the name “Mary”, is one of the most positive and meaningful names to be given to a woman. Their example must be followed by all who desire to bring forth spiritual seed.

A woman with direction must rise up in the realm of the spirit and refuse to be defeated. Daughter, you cannot prevent the devil from hating you. He is against your spiritual seed but it shall surely come forth!

The Key To Supernatural Abundance

0

Beloved, you cannot face your financial problems with “head knowledge” because it doesn’t work! You must learn to take the very thing Satan wants to defeat you with — your finances — and use them to strengthen your faith!

Most people facing financial need in their lives have a mountain of overdue bills, mounting debts, and a lack of sufficient finances and are looking for more money to help them out of their financial problem. They think borrowing, changing jobs, or manipulating circumstances will solve their problems.

But more money is not the answer. You may get more money, but that, too, will soon be gone unless you learn how to enter into God’s Cycle of Supernatural Provision.

God wants you to enter into a new realm of the Spirit: divine provision. It is a supernatural experience where you can experience total financial freedom.

In II Corinthians 8, the Apostle Paul was writing to the believers in Corinth concerning a contribution that they begun to gather for the Christians in Jerusalem, but had not yet finished collecting. To encourage the Corinthians to complete this offering, Paul used the churches in Macedonia, Philippi, Thessalonica, Berea, and others as examples. Verses 2-5 in the Amplified version give us a better understanding of the original Greek:

For in the midst of an ordeal of severe tribulation, their abundance of joy and their depth of poverty [together] have overflowed in wealth of lavish generosity on their part. For, as I can bear witness, [they gave] according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability; and [they did it] voluntarily, Begging us most insistently for the favor and the fellowship of contributing in this ministration for [the relief and support of] the saints [in Jerusalem]. Nor [was this gift of theirs merely the contribution] that we expected, but first they gave themselves to the Lord and to us [as His agents] by the will of God].

II Corinthians 8:2-5, AMPC

These believers gave liberally to meet the needs of the church at Jerusalem, knowing that God would supernaturally provide for them.

The Macedonian congregations who gave to the Jerusalem church were themselves facing a time of great trial and poverty. Macedonia had been devastatingly overrun by armies and stripped of wealth, but it’s people’s focus was not on their own financial situation. They were not moaning, groaning, or complaining because of Satan’s attacks on their finances. They were rejoicing! They knew God would supply their need!

Their eyes were not on their own meager resources, but on God’s supernatural provision. They gave liberally out of their deep poverty, trusting God to supernaturally provide for them.

One of Satan’s major strategies to keep Christians in financial bondage is to convince them they cannot afford to give. He tries to keep you focused on your own financial needs, so you stop giving or give sparingly because your eyes are fixed on your limited finances instead of God’s promises. You can’t afford not to give because it is the key to the divine Cycle of God’s Supernatural Provision!

Say this faith declaration out loud:

I will surrender myself to God so that He can release His supernatural provision into my life! Through prayer and giving, I will enter into this divine Cycle of God’s Supernatural Provision for 2020!

A Year Of Marvels, Wonders, And Extraordinary Manifestations

0

Whatever you are believing God for, begin to expand your expectation. I guarantee you that God is thinking bigger than you’re asking! I believe God is about to do something in your life that is greater than you have ever imagined.

Look at what God spoke to His people before and allow it to direct your faith today. In Exodus 34:10, God shows up and says, “Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.”

That means God is promising to do something so great for you that it will cause you and others to marvel at His power and goodness! Other translations say that God is going to do miracles and wonders that have never been seen before.

Notice that God said this is a covenant to Him. A covenant is a solemn agreement. And God tells us His attitude regarding a covenant saying, “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips”(Psalms 89:34).

So, I ask you, “How reliable is a covenant which God makes?” Can you fully expect Him to back it? Of course you can!

After God made this covenant with Moses and the children of Israel, they saw marvels, wonders, and extraordinary manifestations of God’s greatness. They marveled as God led them through the wilderness, as He provided them food and water, and through the miracles that took place when they had been bitten by serpents.

They marveled at the dividing of the waters of Jordan, the walls coming down at Jericho, and the sun and the moon standing still for them until God had avenged them of their enemies.

They saw things they had never witnessed before and it was obvious that it was the Lord’s doing, and not man’s.

Hundreds of years later, the Prophet Joel declared, “Fear not O land, be glad and rejoice; for the Lord will do great things” and God says, “I will show wonders…” (Joel 2:21, 30).

One of the meanings of the term great things, is beyond the usual. Wonders here implies something unfamiliar or inexplicable, that which is unable to be explained other than it had to be something God did.

What It Means To Be Married To A Wild Cat Pt. 3

0

A Wild Cat wife is an untrained, unspiritual and disobedient woman. She is one of the most difficult personalities to live with. This kind of wife is the worst kind of uncontrollable creature a pastor would like to encounter. She lives for herself and seems not to have any boundaries of common sense, love, decency, restraint, caution or spirituality.

The Beast: Disobedience and Unspirituality

Although many women have the title “Reverend Minister” they are often not truly spiritual. Shouting in tongues is not what reveals your spirituality. Obedience to the Word of God is what reveals your love for God.

I remember speaking to one such unspiritual woman who carried the title of “Reverend”. I asked her to stop her evil behaviour. I pointed out to her that she was going against the Word of God. She shrugged and continued doing exactly what was against the Word of God.

Years later, when her life was destroyed, she tried to contact me to deliver her from the darkness she had created for herself. Unfortunately, I was not in a position to help her any more. Her husband had moved on!

The Dangers

  • Loss of love: A Wild Cat is unable to receive her husband as a man of God. She sees him as someone to fight, someone to oppose and someone to resist. Obviously the man of God will find it difficult to love this “opposition party” and treat her as a delicate object.
  • Violence and danger of imprisonment: A pastor who is married to a Wild Cat may be forced into violence himself. He may hit his Wild Cat in frustration or in self-defence. Such a pastor is also in danger of having a bad reputation for fighting with his wife and hitting her. The pastor may end up in prison for beating up his Wild Cat.
  • Divorce: Often, the earlier years of marriage are filled with hope and the young husband has great faith that a change is possible. However, as the years go by, hope fades and the reality sinks in. The young man realises that there will never be a change. Actually, things are going to get worse! The possibility of divorce will loom bigger everyday.

Marvels, Wonder & Extraordinary Manifestations

0

God established Himself as the God of wonders with these words: “I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among  will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you” (Exodus 34:10 NIV).

This covenant would surely bless God’s children; however, it was established that others might see the marvelous works of the Lord and come to know Him. There’s no expiration date on God’s covenant of wonders; it remains intact  today for those who choose to enter into it.

In this book Dr. Jerry Savelle reveals the prophetic connection between God’s covenant of wonders and the end time harvest of souls, including the abundant financial harvest required to  support this great work.

You’ll discover:
 • Three acts of faith that usher in God’s wonders
 • The role angels play in the manifestation of God’s greatness in our lives
 • The relevance of prophecy in the end time harvest
 • The necessity of finances for the end time harvest
 • How to position yourself for an abundant harvest

This book provides the biblical tools you need to engage in God’s plan for every aspect of the forthcoming abundant harvest of soul and finances. As you enter in to this long-established covenant, you’ll experience the promised marvels, wonders, and extraordinary manifestations of God’s greatness in your own life!
